I want to know who you'd write in for a Presidential candidate if you could. I don't want to hear propaganda or debate about the existing candidates. I want to hear who you'd want to be President more than anyone else, excluding the current candidates.

It's best if you pick someone people will know. Also, it's probably best if you avoid overtly partisan choices, as partisan debate will no doubt ensue over any such comment.

I'll start things out by nominating Dennis Leary. He's exactly the kind of guy who'd hate being President but would be great at it.

Chris Chelios, we need someone tough, someone who won't take any B.S., someone who people actually know!

Now there's a reality show I could watch.  Dennis Leary in the Whitehouse.

Wow, good choice.  Only person I could really think to top that... Adam West

Honestly, who wouldn't want THE Batman running their country.

Well last time i wrote in bugs bunny.

Ill probably write-in again this year just because its a completely no-win situation. I have absolutely no idea who i would like to put in though. Maybe John Gilmore, the guy that founded the EFF, or maybe Kevin Mitnick.

This post was actually inspired by a BBC article I read about a Parliament election wherein they received 1,000 write-in votes for "The Force". Apparently it resulted from an internet campaign of some sort.

Funny stuff.

A national news anchor? Are you serious? The president is already nothing more then a talking head, so you want to elect a talking head?

Bill Clinton.

Seriously, if he could get what he had going in the 90s up and running again, it would be nice to know we had a president who actually knew what he was doing.

http://www.co.wood.oh.us/boe/Write-in%20Candidates.htm - http://www.co.wood.oh.us/boe/Write-in%20Candidates.htm

To be a write-in candidate, a person must file a declaration on intent http://www.co.wood.oh.us/boe/Form%20No.%2013.pdf - (Form 13) .  Only write-in candidates who have filed a valid declaration of intent will have votes counted in the general election (R.C. 3513.041).  A write-in candidate must meet all of the eligibility requirements of the office.

Write-in candidates must file their declaration of intent with the appropriate county board of elections.  A declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate in the general election must be filed not later than 4 p.m., September 13, 2004 (50 days before the general election).  (R.C. 3513.041)  A write-in candidate must pay the same filing fee as any other candidate for the office. (R.C. 3513.10(A) and (B))

Yes, I know its a hypothetical question.  But it does not say the same person only a person. I guess anyone could declare intent  http://www.co.wood.oh.us/boe/Form%20No.%2013.pdf - (Form 13)  for Dennis Leary????? Hes got my write in vote.

Based on this new information my new choice would be:

Mr Harold. My 8th grade history teacher. Really nice guy. He's got the brains for the job too.
