| hey guys im thinking about getting the 03 autococker for entering tournement ball.I will eventually get an impulse or shocker, but for now i need a mid level n2 gun.Is this a good choice? |

those things blow noids like crazy, why do u think action village ( http://www.pbgear.com - www.pbgear.com ) doesnt sell them anymore im was thinking of upgrading a cocker but im going with a spyder e-99 with alot of upps it will be alot cheaper than a cocker and will preform the same, if u lookin for a good kinda-mid class marker then an A5 w/ a e-grip may also be something to consider ------------- |

wait a sec u guys i know that 03 and 04 wgp cockers are pretty much same but 03 cheaper and ur sayin to upgrade that one but from every were i look the 04 is only 50 bucks more and its a little more detailed and it comes with a bottom line (and 03 from what ive seen doesnt) wouldnt he be better goin with a newer marker thats worth the 50 more bucks it costs ?????

umm.. the nexus dosent really efect the mechs... it does have a very good bolt and ram... but its not a first upgrade. edit... when you call it a nexus free flow pneumatics ect... no one who is starting with a cocker will know what your talking bout... nexus and free flow are two diffrent companies. Its called a eclipse nexus upgrade kit, comes w/ bolt, ram, 2 qevs, and internals. not quite a pneumatics kit. -------------

after a barrel... delrin bolt but if you plan on putting alot of money into an 03/04, its better off to get an outkast. they run about 420. outkast would use the same upgrades, but they're not needed as bad as an 03. |

Disagree with some of Bunkerking's recommendations, althought those are all good parts. First you have to decide if you are staying mech or going electro. That decision will affect your upgrade path. For instance, a good 3-way (I recommend Orracle or CT) should be an early upgrade for a mech cocker, but would be a waste of money if you are going electro soon. Similarly, a lighter back block is a bit of a waste on a mech cocker, since you will never be hampered by cycle speed (although reduced recoil is always nice). So first decide what the end product is, and then decide what upgrades you need to get there. |

OK^ basically what he said... but the three way you want is a shock tech bomb or P.P.S. quick switch. also unless you bolt is super light i.e. the 3ds 3rd gen bolt, you wont need a back block. UPGRADES: 3-way ball detent ASA GRIPS BOLT RAM lpr reg -------------
