I posted a topic about the wires next to the switch on the E-bolt coming off whenever I disassembled it and I figured today while reading Brave New World, that if I just removed the switch all together and just ran the current through the two wires then I wouldn't have to worry about the wieght of the switch twisting up the wires anymore and causing another break.....I figured that since the E-bolt goes to sleep after being inactive for ten minutes, I could just keep the safety in instead of using the switch......does anyone see any major flaws in this plan before I go to work on it later....?

I highly doubt taking a switch out of the circuit would cause the firing modes to switch around......hey!....are you tryin to get me to hate my e-bolt.....lol

Generally they put things like switches in there for a reason. Like, so you get X thousand shots instead of Y thousand, where X > Y.

Leave it in, find a creative way to deal with the wires. It shouldn't be that hard, and if it is, send it in to Tippmann to be fixed/replaced.

um no. a switch just brakes the current or conects it. its not like there are any I.C.'s or diodes in there that could change your Curcuit.
