Well Ive been working out latly and mostly doing aerobics type
stuff(this being many reps and light weight) to burn some fat. I do
bench, 2 types of curles, and 2 or 3 tricep thingies. Right now I
work out every other night but I was wondering if it would be alright
to work out every single day doing the same exersizes.

Doing the same thing every day isn't good, its not bad, but its not as good as mixing it up.

In order to "get buff" I lift 3 times a week, run 5 miles 3 days a week, and do sprints and
plyometrics 1-2 times a week. Sustains/builds muscle mass and strength and
keeps the fat off.

If your just starting doing the same thing every day is perfectly ok. If you were into heavy lifting or serious training, then I would say focus on different body area on different days of the week.
Since you are doing the same workout every day, just rotate the exercises. You will be fine.

Exactly, that is how you build muscle. They get bigger because you are creating tiny tears in the muscle, which heal themselves, making themselves bigger. If you do the same muscle constantly, it doesn't give it time to grow.

First, hammer dumbell curls. Second, increase weight...

I work out at Tae Kwon Do.
Either doing the normal class, or other ways before/after class.
I have routines I do on the punching bags and wavemasters, and I do strength toneing with Power-Bands (these thick 3 foot bands of rubber elastic) doing things like wrapping them around my ankles and doing kicks, or holding one end in each hand and wrapping it around my back and doing pushups.
I really dont lift weights, I do endurance/arobic stuff.
Ok onto your advice. Get a punching bag or a Wavemaster (big punching bag on a stick) and work on it for about 15 min without stopping. Also, buy some of thoes ankle/wrist weight strap-on deals and put them on and start a jog/run. It wears you out and really does wonders on your physical endurance......

Instead of doing curls with your palms facing your chest, hold the bar so they your knuckles are facing away from you. That will correctly work your "tricepts".

for triceps do skull crunches...lay on your back with a curling bar strait out with your arms extended...then slowly bring the bar down to your forehead and lift it back up. do 3 sets of 10 to start with. dont put too much weight on it or you will hurt your head. You can hold your hands either way on the bar but i prefer hands on top of the bar (when you come down your hands should be closest to your head)

Triceps can be done by taking a weight, and holding it behind your head, and lifting it straight up and down. remember, speed is key, go slow. You build resistance that way too. Sorry I cant describe the workout very well, just go to a local gym and ask for some tips.

^aren't we all
my workout goes like:
Monday-Nautilus nitro circuit at gym (variation of non stop exersizes and multiple reps)
Tueday-Cardio workout (usually 1 hour on an eliptical machine doing a cross training program that results in about 11,000 strides and just over 800 calories burned)
Wednesday-Upper body training (mostly free weights and free weight machines)
Thursday-2 mile Dbl time jog and various calisthenics (I hate running and then doing pushups, squat thrusts, flutter kicks, etc.)
Friday-rest and repair
Saturday-combo or cardio and upper body free weights
Sunday-1 mile run followed by calisthenics

You said strap-on.
Anyways... I used to work out like crazy. I lifted weights, did lots of push-ups, situps, crunches, etc.
The problem with that is, while I built muscle and strength, I lost flexibility. To me, flexibility is extremely important (golf), so I layed off.
But you should only work on your upper body every other day, same with lower body. Your abs and cardio are really the only two things that are fine to work on every day.

From my experience, lifting weights does nothing more than make you better at lifting weights...
I know that everyone is different, but for me, doing isometric (i think that is what they are called) works a lot better.
Take a simple folding chair. Hold it out in front of you with your hands on the top, elbows straight...hold it there.
Pretty boys do push-ups. You really want to get strong? Move your hands out 3 more inches. Most people think they are doing push ups, when they are really doing tricep push ups. Now when you go down, hold your entire body off the deck about half an inch for about 10 seconds. Just a mere 10 seconds. Then go all the way up. Stay there for 3 seconds, back down again and hold it. Try just 10-15 reps.
I'd tell you about other good exercises...but nobody really cares. Everyone would rather talk about how they can bench 1.5 times their body weight and curl their girl friends.

On the 4 or so occasions when we did lift in track, I did this super cool stuff.
One was this machine, it was a benchpress but your chest was vertical,
and you pushed out, it was pretty cool. Too bad I jerked off and maxed
instead of doing reps. But it was fun.
The other thing I like is placing on hand and one knee on a bench, and
using your other hand to lift a weight from the ground to your
shoulder. I do that sucker with 70 pounds. Doing it 30 times is
ridiculous.
But yeah, those 4 times, plus one or two more in wrestling, are all the weight lifting I've ever done.
