I found out some interesting news today. My best friend Pinch's girlfriend cheated on him with her best guy friend. They had a LONG talk and decided to work it out. So after this talk, he came to me. He wanted to know if he has the right to tell her she cannot hang out with him while they are dating. I personally don't know so I figured I'd ask someone else's opinion. No. He has no say in who she hangs out with, she isn't his property. If he wants to go back to her, fine, he can be a moron. He doesn't get to set the terms of his stupidity.

I say he needs to find a new girlfriend. She see him as a push over at this point. If she doesnt willing stay away from the guy she cheated on him with, then she isnt sorry and she is just using him while the other dude gets all the honey.

Obviously her best friend isn't her best friend...He wouldn't of let
that happen...If she wants to make things right she would be picking
between the two guys...She just can't become friends again with the guy
she fooled around with and have every thing go back to the way it
was...They both must have some feelings for each other...If she wants
to keep him as a friend then yer friend should break things off

You know, lately I've been finding a lot of things like this thread that make me glad that I'm not a super-hot chick magnet. Methinks it's not worth the stress and annoyance for what I'd get out of a high-school relationship. As I explained to someone in #paintball who told us that his girlfriend asked him if he was mad that she didn't call him, he will never win. From what I've seen and heard, both at school and from friends, a high school-age girl (particularly young; a senior or junior is less likely to be like this) would either infer that he didn't like her anymore since he wasn't heartbroken, or if he was mad then she'd feel angry and yell at him for being too attached or being a control freak or whatever.
Meh. I'm content to be myself. With the exception of a girl I saw today with a T-shirt stating "I LOVE NERDS", nobody wants to date a fat, nerdy, semi-deranged person like me. Anyway, actual advice: Tell him to dump her, maybe even to consider going single for an indefinite amount of time. I've yet to see someone who was happier with girl troubles than without. EDIT: In case there are some psycho militant feminists browsing the forum, I based this post on my own observations. You can argue what I said all you want, but it remains my observations, in my environment. Kthx. ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.
