Is it just me, or is everyone psyched about Halo 2's premier on Nov. 9th? (I am of course talking about the X-Box game, not the 'halo' loader for your guns). Just wondering, because I know I've been waiting for it for awhile. It's been an agonizing year so far...Only 75 more days until it hits the stores!

i am anxiously waiting its arrival as well. however, the only sad thing is that it will opver shadow the pball game that is supposed to come out at a similar time (really bad idea by whoever created the pball game) ------------- NYX Tri Fade #227 <Removed 570kb avatar. Halo is an awesome game. Halo 2 will rock your socks off. Just watching the first level in play gives me a hard-on. I plan on getting a Xbox for that game. ------------- |

What? I don't see people going around praising homestar. I don't even freaking like homestar! I just found a name and used it! Halo is just a First Person Shooter. It's not all that great. Oh my god... Don't you read? I knew all about the site. I never said that I didn't have knowledge of the site. I liked the whole Trogdor thing. I figured, since my name was Trogdor, that an avtar that has Trogdor on it would be approraite. I don't see what the big deal is. It's my personal opinion that Halo is extremely over rated. I posted it, and you flamed me. There is no real feature that makes the game much different from any other game. You're a guy that shoots aleins. The first Halo was (and still is) impressive to many because it was a release title for the X-BOX from a relitively new/small company. Besides that, it's just so stylistic and original compared to others in it's genre. I don't mean to insult anyone, but if you don't see the spectacularness in the game, then I pitty you. It introduced me to the X-BOX and gave it a good name in my book, anyways. (By the way, does anyone have a clue what my signature is? He's right though. Halo is full of annoying 12 year olds who get all annoyed everytime you shoot them. And the learning curve on that game sucks. I was like, winning the first time I played. It takes no real skill. |

Come on! Halo's a great game and it at least deserves the respect of not being ragged on. If you don't like this game, it's probably because you don't much like video games in the first place, and don't know the difference between a great game and a bad one. A videogame is a freakin game...who cares which one is "the best" all they're for is to entertain you when you have some free time...if it's fun to play and you have a good time playing it...then that's a great game to me -------------

Im a video game guerru. Simply put. First off let me say something. Halo is an FPS. Thats IT. Some people are FPS fans. Some people arent. Halo is really the only title XBOX owners have to play. So, of course they are going to love it. What else do they have to love? The game itself is boring. Single player is nothing new, spectacular, or intresting at all. In fact, single player is horrible. The multiplayer feature is fun, at best. No skill is really required. After my third night of playing the game I beat someone who had it for two years, -1 to 18. Needless to say the game isnt very intricate. The graphics are OK as stated before. The game is entirely too hyped. Its not an opinion at all. Its a fact. Its by far not the greatest video game ever made, and its by far not the greatest FPS ever made. The game is fun, but thats about it. If you think im just some random guy with out any video game knowledge, or im single minded, you're wrong. Im currently beta testing a game for PS2, KILLZONE. Im sure that game name will become quite common once its released to the public... -------------
