I just bought a 98 custom and i don't like how the hopper is a huge target and sticks out (as it does on pretty much all guns). I"m considering a Qloader, here's a link to their site so you can see it. http://www.qloader.com/500_round_q_loader.html - http://www.qloader.com/500_round_q_loader.html
Does anybody have any experience with it? Any other reccomendations?
------------- Gun Setup:
Black and silver 98c
14" J&J Ceramic barrel
20oz co2
Warp feed
Gravity loader :(

I have a qloader on my 98c. I love it. It takes a few tries to get good at loading and assembling it but once you do its easy. I have a response trigger on my 98c but for a stock 98c its kind of overkill. If you have any specific questions feel free to pm me.

i would go with a warp feed, q-loader pods are bulky in their own way,
and i would think they are heavy. eventually i would get a warp
feed. well first i would need a marker . idk, both have their pro's and con's, its generally preference. besides i doubt you need 30+bps capability.

dont get the qloader, the pods are kinda big, they are really expensive, is a pain in the @$$ to load, both my friends bought tournament packages and within a week sold them and bought halo's, ive delt with Q's and they suck, they really really do id prefer a revvy over a q loader i hated the Q loader get a warp feed

Only problem with a warp feed is the price. For the cost of that i'd rahter get a flatline and not even worry about them seeing my hopper, much less getting it hit.

I've never had a single problem with my qloader. The pods aren't very heavy and aren't much larger than 140 round pods. Loading isn't very hard once you get used to it. I got the entire qloader system plus 5 pods for $100 on ebay. The company that makes them are pretty cool too, I lost the hub on one of my pods and Ancient Inovations sent me a new one for free. I think the qloader is kind of like a flatline, you either love it or hate it.

You are telling him to get a warp and you think that he souldn't get a qloader because you think that the q-loader is heavy. Have you ever picked up a marker with a warp on it? It is way heaver than a qloader and the warp makes your gun way heavy on one side.
The qloader is not verry expensive and it comes with a lifetime warranty. There is no other loader on the market with a lifetime warranty. If you look at it's peformance to price, It out performs the halo and empire reloaders and is the same or less money.
Most people who don't like the qloader have never used it. Or they thought that they would just put it on a marker just like the other hoppers. You do have to read the manual, but that is why we go to school for 12 years, so we can learn to read.
And if you ever use a different marker that can shoot faster then you can use the qloaders speed.
I love my qloader.

Glassjaw, yer terribly wrong bout the Q-loader, theyre not heavy at all and it makes you a lesser target than havin any hopper on the market, infact 2 of my friends has the Qloaders on their markers and people still give that BIG EYED JAW DROPPIN LOOK when they see it and being used on the field.
Im gettin one fer my 98c soon when Im done payin off the registration fee+parking tickets on my truck.

Your truck is so new you still haven't paid registration, and you already have parking tickets?
Very impressive.

A Warp Feed and a 200rd hopper on 1 side of a marker is extremely bulky compared to a Qloader, even though the Q only holds 100 and it wont give you that off balanced feeling and if you really think bout, the Warp Feed is battery operated, the Qloader isnt.

the only other suggestion would be to get a warp feed, but you would still need a hopper, so i would just recomend teh q-loader...

YOU CANT REALLY GET RID OF THE BULKINESS OF THE HOPPER, NO MATTER WHAT KIND YOU GET IT WILL STILL BE A TARGET. (UNLESS YOUR USING THE 10 PB TUBES FOR .49$LOL )

10 round tubes.....now there's a solution! (sarcasm of course).
Oh yeah, i saw a picture of the egg loader thing, and i love the way that looks. So now it's all about saving up money for a response trigger, then seeing what i can get cheaper on ebay: an eggy, or a qloader.

you can mount warp feeds so they are set up under your barrel, or
atleast from waht ive heard, but thatw ould cause many problems.
you could probably set it up so its directly under your barrel/marker
and almost touching it than get an elbow and attach your hopper.
idk.

You guys are forgeting the Milsim ascpect - MAGAZINES! I've been waiting for something like this for years. Paintball is finally catching up to airsoft - more realism and less cheesy sci-fi markers.

I'd go with the Q-laoder, if your looking to minnimize the mass of your loader, keeping the loader and then adding more onto it isnt going to help. And I've heard the q-loader is easy once you get the hang of it.

uggg...
couple things to note:
-qloader weighes in at about the same as halo and an egg
-i have owned all of these loaders and the one i use is the q loader (i currently own a q loader, halo b, an egg, and a warp, and i used to own a 12volt rev)
-the 12 volt rev was stronger than the egg is, and for a long time (i havent heard of it still happening) revs would have the feed necks snap off just putting it on a gun, simply put the way the egg is made is not good for plastic.
-warp can only be mounted on the grip frame of your gun, and my warp was much bulkier than my qloader is
-i have never gotten hit on my q loader, i have however gotten shot on my halo many times, and i dont recall ever even playing with the egg
-my halo caught on fire, then i sent it into odyssey 5 times to get it fixed, and its still broken and they wont respond to my emails anymore, great customer service...
