Ok, i have no sound coming from my speakers on my computer. I was listening to music and the sound just cut out. I tried to play different music and games but i have no sound. I have Klipsch pro media 5.1 surrounds with a little control module and it has a test button that emits a test sound through all the speakers and that works fine. the computer i have is a dell, same soundcard that came with it.i don't know what is wrong. if you need to know more just ask. Any help appreciated.

Speaker blew maybe, check the back of your computer, make sure everything is hooked up, sometimes the wiring in the back can come loose, otherwise I am not sure, hope you get it fixed.

1. make sure you didnt unplug something by accident
2. make sure you didnt murder your soundcard somehow...(not sure how you would do that
3. try restarting the computer in case its an error in your computer..
4. waittill morning when the comp. experts get on..because Im just rambling now...

My recomendation, reinstall windows.

I have had this problem before and that solved it for me.

I know it sounds over the top, but it should work.

Phsst... You dont have to reinstall windows. Did the speakers ever work in the past?

Just update your sound card drivers.

Make sure your settings are not set to mute. Some times other programs will mute the speakers with out your knowledge. If you reinstal windows, you make lose file registry associations and while the programs are still on the harddrive they my not load without reinstaling them.
