If you have the money the a-5 is definatly a better choice and a flatline is a good barrel to you may wanna look into getting a drop forward most people find it gives the gun a more comfortable feeling

if u wanna really good gun and you don't care bout price...smart parts
nerve, it 1500, comes with a n2 tank, can't upgrade it is so new...if
ur between tippmanns...i go 2 the 98c...i have 1 and i love it...plus u
don't need special barrels or a standard hopper 4 it...u also said u
would get a flatline...just warning u that if a ball breaks, u won't be
able 2 hit something 3 feet in front of u

if u mean $1,500? thats not the price range i was thinking about, and i kinda don't want some electronic but if it really helps i would get it.I see most people on this board like 98c more than a5... i just want something thats good at everything, acuracy, speed, duriblity, and anything else. 2 of my friends have the 98c and they said the a5 was really small, will that affect anything? have any reason you like the 98c more?

the a-5 is heavier...still has less customizability(is that a real
werd?) then the 98c...and the 98c is like the universal gun...u can
find almost any thing made 4 a 98c

Yeah i have decided to get an A5 but what should i put on it? E-grip? what barrel? different hopper? the R/T thing? the laser(if there is 1)? and i appreciate the help .

u can't get a diff hopper cuz there is only one hopper that fits the
bulky cyclone feed...i would get an e-grip, but no response
trigger...they r a waste together and r/t is getting banned from
different places across the county...i would look in2 ny model 98
barrels and just get a 98 to a-5 barrel adapter(go 4 the dye ultralite
14") also a double trigger always helps 4 fast shooting and low
pressure kit 2 convert ur gun to n2, but then u also need a tank and
those r like 190...gimme a price range and i'll find the best a-5
combination 4 u

GO WITH THE A5.DEFINETELY.BUT IF YOU PUT A FLATLINE ON IT,KEEP THE VELOCITY UNDER 250 FPS. I WOULD ALSO GET AN EGRIP. YOU CAN GET SOME GOOD DEALS OFF EBAY. GO TO DYEPRECISION.COM TO L@@K THE ULTRALITE BARREL BUT THEN U NEED A BARREL ADAPTER, THE SQUEEGIE IS THE THING YOU CLEAN THE BARREL OUT WITH WHEN YOU BREAK A BALL BUT I WOULDNT LOSE SLEEP OVER IT B/C THE A5 HARDLY EVER BREAKS A BALL. THE 4 POD PACK IS WHERE YOU CARRY XTRA AMMO AND YOUR TANK IF YOU HAVE A REMOTE. ITS USUALLY ON YOUR LOWER BACK. THE REMOTE IS A COILED CORD THAT RUNS FROM YOUR TANK ADAPTER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GRIP TO THE CO2 TANK, IT HELPS LIGHTEN THE LOAD ON THE GUN AND PUTS IT ON YOUR BACK. GOOD LUCK

the dye ultralite is a good barrel, accurate, light..etc.
squeegie cleans the paint out of your barrel if you break paint in your
barrel. pods hold paintballs, a pack is sort of like a back pack,
but lower and more towards your hips which as velcro and plastic slots
to hold pods. a remote is a coiled line that alows you to have
the air source on your pack not on your gun.
and masta, i have read 3 of your posts and your already annoying the
hell out of me. STOP WITH CAPS
LOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get the 98c!!! if you really want an A-5 im not going to stop you. if so get the things listed. if you want to get less things eliminate these, dye invision goggles(you can get cheaper ones and they're good too)(save some money on ups), little accessories(go stock for a while until you get a little extra money), you dont need the low pressure kit if you want to save some money. the ups for the tippmann guns will blow your mind. first get the necessities like the mask and N2 and stuff. if you want to go cheaper for a while get CO2 and go like that for a while. then sell the tank on e-bay for some cash and get N2. i love my 98c and im sure you'll love your tippmann gun. have fun and remember to be as safe as possible. also think before you do something cause you could get llit up bad like i did my first paintball game. . most of all be safe. always keep your mask on and follow the rules. also i have a question. are you playing speedball(on a field with bunkers and stuff) or woodsball (in the woods) because you mentioned the flatline. if you're playing woodsball you dont need some of the ups like N2 and low pressure kit and stuff like that. PM me if you want to get a good list of woodsball ups.

Get either one, theyre both very durable, the A5 costs a lil more than the 98c, theyre both very upgradable and if yer gonna get the Flatline, make sure you check the size and quality of the paintballs yer gonna use and since is jumpin the chance to help you, what type of paintballing are you into, speedball or woodsball or both....
