This is my woodsball 98c, my goal for it is for it to work well, for it to look cool (but not realistic, i dont think paintball guns are made to look like real guns), and for it to be confortable to use.... and it is extremly confortable. Specs: Tippman 98 custom Polished internals M4 stock Dead-on double trigger Custom strap Custom Flashlight(for looks, and yes, i play at night)
As you can probably tell, im way against the fancy purple shinny speedball guns. I know this gun isnt most of your guy's style, but please rate it anyway. Thanks |

Get a remote line and that will help with the comfortable level. Only thing on there i dont like is the flashlight. Other then that, its a good start. -------------

yeah, i knew you guys wouldnt dig the flashlight.... but i think it will come in handy for when we play night. and im not suprised that you dont like it j2duhr... but it fits my style of play if you rate it bad... can you guys give reasons why you rate it bad? cuz just saying that it sucks doesnt help much... :p and yes.... i really really like electrical tape

new barrel-anything by dye, lapco bigshot, sp progressive, j&j ceramic,flatline expansion chamber-whatever style u prefer responce trigger-faster ROF remote-goes with the stock u have agitated hopper-keep up with RT -------------

thanks for the suggestions... i was thinking about the GTA... the co2 tank feels pretty confortable with the stock to me, im thinking twice about the remote.... ive been told to get a new barrel many times, but im happy with the results of the stock barrel, but i guess i dont know any better, lol. and i was thinking about a Ricochet AK for a hoper, looks cool with the 98c... And the rt is cool, but spendy

If your realy that poor , you could have saved yourself about $70.00 by going without the CAR stock .

anti-woodsball because it just plain sucks, so I'm giving you a
7/10. Get a remote line and a new barrel. Mabey a new grip
or something too.

The other guys are right about the light giving your position away. Try using a red lense. It would help to hide your position more. Why not going for some type of tactical light, or one with a switch you could mount near your grip to access it when you need to. Also, the black tape is okay but it may look better if you got a flashlight mount. You could purchase those off of just about any police site. It would fit right on to the stock Tippmann barrel. ------------- Hubb |

The stock, to me, helps a lot. Thanks for the idea about the red lense, i never thought about that. I'm going to get a job soon, so i will finally be able to buy some real stuff for it. :) |

another vote for a flatline. once you shoot a flatline playing woods ball you have no clue how you ever played without it. its such an improvment. you have almost the same setup as me. i just have a flatline, wertical adapter with expansion chamber and a remote line. remote lines can be nice but can also kinda get in the way. If you are trying to clime a small cliff or something you cant really put your gun down. but since you have the gheto rigged sling that should solve that problem. Im looking at sewing myself a nice sling. The only problem with you getting a flatline is your whole gun would be to long to fit in any sort of regular case. you would either have to make one or buy a rifle case that would acomodate it. I made a soft case with padded interior, sling and outside pocket for about 20 bucks. I wouldn't spend a ton of money on a r/t. I know the way i play woods ball, rate of fire is the last of my concern. You are shooting such long distances in most casses you would rather 3 better aimed shots at a target than 15 non aimed shots sorry for rambling and my poor gramar. |

I think it's pretty cool. I love woodsball. 7/10. I would recommend taking the flashlight off though. I tried that once when i first started playing night games and I got creamed. You might look at a new barrel too. ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |

if you're playing woods ball why the double trigger, get a new barrel and use something else to hold the flashlight maybee a ris system, they are cheap even for poor people maybee 10 bucks at walmart tops flashlights are only good for urban night games if you ask me like the stock but you should get a sight rail so you can aim 5/10 |

Next upgrade should be a barrel without a doubt. The stock barrel you have is garbage... If you havn't already noticed.

i second the vote with losing the flashlight. i went and played a night game with a friend who had one attached to his gun. completely useless. you generally want to stay "dark" when you play at night. having a big bright spot on the end of your gun isn't the best way to hide. i'm a woodsball player myself, running a 98c with a flatline, lp kit, rt kit, double trigger, a drop forward, and the rikochet 2k hopper. i have a remote line but my pack isn't big enough for my comp air tank |

like i said, this is a poor person's customized gun, so electrical tape is a must.... but i have decided to loose the flashlight.... im going to go up to my room and shed a tear as i take off the electrical tape

everyone loves electric tape, actualy there are a few really cool mods for your gun that involve electric tape, if that makes you feal any better, and as far as being poor and trying to upgrade your gun, i had the same problem before i got a job, and actualy i even bought the stock first, i even play without a remote like just like that,( it really is quite comfortable). anyways, since i couldent aford any really nice upgrades for my gun i made a very nice looking fake suppressor, it was prety gheto the way i attached it to the stock barrel, but you couldent tell that from the outside, it looked a lot like the flatline for the A5 except that it was on a 98c, but yeah actualy i think im going to dig up that digital cammera of mine and make a little tutorial on the forums about it, ill call it the poor mans suppressor barrel.
