here are the new 05 cockers. there are three models and they are suppossedly all under $300 dollars. they have no frontblock and the 3 way is suppossedly built into the body.
Trilogy Pro version-MSRP $269
Trilogy comp version- $219

no more aftermarket 3 ways and no more E frames also unless they make one with out the solinoid like having a spyder e frame that releases the sear and pulls back the 3 way
you can see the 3 way right were the hpr skrews onto the gun |

Guys, guys, guys.... i really dont think you get it. Wgp is just adding
these 3 guns to the 05 lineup. They are still making the higher dollar
cockers. Its actually a really good idea for wgp because now they can
market to people that dont have a big budget but still want a
cocker.

Good idea, entry level cockers. I'm sorry, but for $219 that's a better deal for a newer player than an A-5. The $179 one is also a better deal than a Spyder/Clone at the same price. If they still continue making the regular cockers, then why not have entry levels too? That's probably the best performing entry level on the market. Or it will be when it comes out. They've ruined their name by coming out with AutoCockers that everyone can afford? They still make the higher end ones like the Pro Stock ('04 Cocker) and the OutKast. Now they've introduced newer models. It's a good idea. I hope it works out for them. The 3-way is the part of the pneumatics that lets air into the ram. The 3-way is opened when you pull the trigger.
A built in 3-way cannot be replaced with an electronic 5-way so how could you put an eblade on? A built in 3-way is not a bad idea. The gun is much simpler than a regular cocker which is good for a begginner. a few DEFINATELY look like PMI piranhas.... and just becuase WGP was bought by K2 has nothing to what they come out with. WGP is like every company, trying to come up with new marketing techniques. it appears right now, they are making guns cheaper and changing a few looks.. thats all they are doing! E Bladed guns will still be made, im sure of it. New looks are coming and we all will have to get used to it, from all the other paintball compies too. -------------

This reminds me of when Porsche came out with their SUV. Everyone thought they weren't sticking to their sport-car heritage and higher-end cars. They're doing fine now and the SUV isnt doing too bad either. -------------

You can't. They'll probably come out with some kind of e-frame mod that will specifically fit those models. The worrblade will still be produced for the 2005 SuperStock and Outkast. These are not the 2005 SuperStocks. They are probably replacing the Ranger markers. They are not however replacing WGP's A/C line. If they were WGP's new A/C line then yes this would be a bad idea. But they're not. From a player's perspective and from the company's, this is a very good move. They don't look bad either. They look fine.
