I am probably going to get an expansion chamber for my A-5....or a regulater if i get some more money. What i was wondering is i have seen pictures of A-5's with regs and exp chamber and it looks like it would kind of uncomfortable to hold...like the reg/exp chamber is in the way of the operator using the front grip. Is it uncomfortable? or does it feel like holding the front grip wihtought the reg/exp chamber?

Sorry if this shouldnt be in this forum i just didnt really know where else to put it.

Since you are running nitro, you don't need an expansion chamber. If you have a decent tank, you don't need a regulator either. A secondary reg would only be necessary if you were to install the LPK.

As for comfort, it's not that bad, you just hold onto the x-chamber/regulator as you would the front grip.

Save your money and get a larger tank, the A5 is a gas hog, so get something at least 68 ci, you'll get alot more shots out of it.

a torpedo reg. only costs about $10 more than an x-chamber. u dont have to sell ur nitro tank to get one. and u dont really have time to notice what ur front grip feels like when ur being shot at.

ok a x-chamber with HPA is like an expensive gas through grip, get a reg, will be much better, i like the palmer over the torpedo, yet both are good

98C-baller, you don't have a problem with expensive gas through grips do you?  Well, I bought this x-chamber before I knew what a Palmer Stabilizer was, and it still comes in useful when the Nitro runs out and the other team think they've got me- then I pop out blasting them with the 'ol CO2!

*edit*
Oops, forgot important part of post- the topic.
I actually dispise the infernal stock front grip. It's too far away from the body to maximize the abilty for stabilized shooting- I use my x-chamber as my grip. It's like comparing holding a chair up off the floor with an outstretched arm to holding a chair off the floor with your arm (elbow) resting on your ribs/ body.
