Well, I get Friday off of school. Why you ask? Same reason I did 3 weeks ago. Seems there is a big catagory 4 hurricane, this time named Frances, that is planned to hit southern Brevard/northern Indian River counties. I live alot more inland, but the storm is expected to cross us. Well, here we go again..... -------------

I only get the remains of ones that dwindle up the coast. Then they are already like 40mph winds and mild down pours.

We got thursday and friday off down here in Boca Raton but I'm not happy about it at all. This means we loose some of our Thanksgiving break. -------------

Actually there is a rumor that Jeb may allow the days taken off due to to hurricanes be allowed to be "skipped" (not have to be made up) because Charollete (Punta Gorda) and Orange (Orlando) Were without power for close to a week after Charley, and making kids try and remake 7-8 days is insane. -------------

Tell me about it. Even the most hopeful forecasters show a direct line through my town. Vero Beach. Fun fun. We get an indefinite amount of time off; depending on how much of the school survives, this could be interesting. My school is building a new campus for Visual and Performing Arts and so half the school is crammed into portables.. it's set up so that losing one portable is about four classes instead of one. We shall see. After the whole boarding-up bit, my dad and I leave tomorrow unless the 'cane shifts away dramatically. 
That's a fairly decent representation of where it will hit, considering I did it in about 30 seconds using MS Paint. ------------- Is God real? You'll find out when you die.
Okay, I don't have a clever signature zinger. So sue me. |

Oh no! No paintball this weekend? I had games planned for Friday and Saturday, I guess it's time to move back to California. Is there anyone in Broward or Palm Beach county who's up for a game of Hurricane ball? Phhh... Hurricanes are just another excuse for Tampa residents to party.
It's going to suck working this weekend though, because every other person that comes up to me or calls me at Sears is going to ask if we have any more generators left - OF COURSE NOT!
