I am going to be getting a Red ICD BKO 2004, can someone tell me the ups and downs of this marker? I have never owned/played with a high-end gun except maybe an Imppy. If I got this thing would I be overwhelmed and have no clue of how to use this? Help me out here please. Also from people with experience with this marker, is it hard to maintain? Thanks in advanced.

Its not REAL high-end. It should be simple.

well there is a trigger and when you pull it a paintball will come out of the barrel and hit the poor player on the other end of the balls flight path.(example explained with hopper full of balls and marker presurised, while playing a game of paintball.)JKIts a fun and easy marker to play with dont know about maintainiing the thing.

I would consider a BKO a high end gun.. from my experince they are low quality and cheaply made.

Anyway you turn it on adjust the regs and go..not complicated.

The BKO is a very VERY nice gun if you know what your doing... With  a few upgrades a BKO can keep up with some Impys/Cockers  but it might cost you a pretty penny to make it just an Amazing gun...

Add the PDS System(Call ICD for more Info.) Add a better regulator, add a barrel Kit, and possible a new Bolt, and Grips...

After that and you get used to the BKO, Add  A Chaos Board, and a Chaos Chip so that you BKO will have a Unlimited ROF...

The most important ans possible the first upgrade you should get is the PDS System it will help you  out like none other...

the bko is a great gun for the price, get a fast loader or you will chop, an eggy or a halo will be more then enough. A halo will also help with any blow back issue you may have. Get a new reg first, then a bolt if you have blow back, and then whatever else you see fit. It is also very simple to maintain.... keep it clean and every now and then lube your ram, thats about it. I hope I helped you some.
