But to answer the question...  paintball games universally suck.  Paintball is already a simulation - who needs a simulated simulation?

I'll stick to FPS games with "real" guns.

I think a well made paintball game could rock. I've not seen one yet, but I think it's possible.

The paintball modes for "real" shooters aren't the same because they don't take into account the physics specific to paintball.

Such a game would have to come with a "call paintcheck on the bastard so I can find out where he is" button and a "rub paint on my jersey" button and an "'accidental' bonus-balling" button.

And, of course, the "laugh at the newb with the Tippmann" button.

woodz ball is a simulation. speed ball is sport. but i do think its realllllllllllllly dumb.

try the digital paintball halflife mod. i just installed it last night, and it's pretty damn good.
