I think that Tippmann should make a bullpup style gun.

thats nice... but it isnt going to happen
is there any reason why you want it to be bullpup? or how its going to work?
just to let you know, a broad suggestion is not an idea... next time you post in here, make sure its an idea
you really need to read the FAQs... being new and all

Fine. It would work like any other gun, except it would load from the back and the barrel would be encased inside the gun. It would make the gun much smaller.

how would it load from the back? and doesnt the casing increase the profile?

Anyone can come here and spout out some random idea.

It takes someone smart to have an idea how it would actually work.

The point of a bull-pup design is to have a longer barrel in a short gun.  A longer paintball barrel doesnt mean more accuracy, and range... so there you go.  This idea is pointless in a paintball gun.

a longer barrel gives more accuracy...cuz more stabilazation area...like 10ft more distance...but longer barrel means more air used to get paint outta gun...so i agree wit u on everything but the barrel thing

The purpose of bull-pup was for people to be a better close quarters gun. Just imagine a 98c w/ the trigger at the where the front grip. It does not make the gun longer or shorter it just places it closer to you for weaving tight places. But I dont think that you can use the word bull pup doesnt that only aply to guns w/ magazines behind the triggers. (cough cough sumthin paintball doesnt havecough)

After 8 inches the ball is already stabilized.

longer barrel doesn't necessarily make more accuracy...the faq in the upgrades forum wrote this under the barrel section:

"1-      BARREL LENGTH- For the most part, the length of your barrel does not affect accuracy. A paintball needs about 7.5-8 inches of barrel to stabilize, and to be truthful, after that, you are using more of your air source (co2, n2, or HPA). So, the longer the barrel, the A- more air you use and B- the more you have to turn up your velocity. This should help to eliminate questions asking “How long should I order my barrel?” Although, once again, I will say there is nothing wrong with asking questions, after you search."

This should settle the longer barrel arguement.  If you need a good example think stock class markers.  Even the ones with the SHORT fixed barrels are just as accurate with a good paint to barrel match.

The closest thing that was ever created to simulate a bull-pup gun is found in warpig.com theres a pic in there wit a guy who created a bull-pup by using a P/C.

And here it is

yeah i'm not all that in to this idea....and i think that if tippmann does make a new gun its not going to be on the millsim side....but then that just me but i dont think that tippmann is going to pass up the speedball market by making a pup....paintball is really pushing to get away from the gun nuts millitary image thats why people are hiting hard on the speedball thing

i agree and disagree to what you said.

i dont think tippmann will try for the mil-sim market because it isnt a large market, but will still make a marker that can easily be converted into mil-sim.

However, regarding your comment about tippmann not passing up the speedball market, i believe you are very wrong. Tippmann controls the rec and woodsball market becasue they are the only big company who focuses on this market, which is actually larger than the speedball market. The speedball market has 37265262652 companies making virtually the same marler for this market, so why would tippmann enter a filled and smaller market where the players think little of tippmann?

Justr one small problem piantball guns don't have magazines! If you were to put the tank vertical behind the trigger and kinda switch them around then i geuss that that would count.

Its not pointless, you could have a 12 in. barrel and the gun could still only be 14 in long.

One of the biggest, most useless, bumps I've ever seen. Good job.
