Step 1. Get a field.
Step 2. Get materials such as plywood.
step 3. Net off said field.
Step 4. Arrange Plywood and stuff into bunkers.
Step 5. Play.

Yeah anything works.

Hek! You could buy hay bales and stack up 2 or 3 and then put a wooden stake or 2 through it to hold it to the ground.

old barrels, tires, plywood, old branches stacked up against a tree, you can even tie a rope between 2 trees and hang a couple heavy tarps over it and put tent spikes through the bottom, anything that will stop a paintball can be used as a bunker

a bunker is an object you hide behind to avoid being hit by paintballs.

My friend and I built a course out of all of those signs people put up when election time comes around. I'm sure if you ask if you can have them they will give them to you because they just throw them away anyways.

Tires are always good, and election signs thats a new one..but you might wanna give it a try. Also if you had the money, plexiglass can make like cool spots that you can see out through and be seen through, but not be shot. Kinda annoying...

go to wall mart and but camo burlap you can make som lice colapsable binkers if you do it right. then if you are only using the feild part time you can bring your bunkers home and move them arround from game to game. i like the burlap becouse you can see through it but the enimy cant. also a 55 gal drun rolled arround makes a nice mobile bunker just dont get flanked.

Is this field going to be permanent? Are you going to let others use it? Is it on private or public property, do you or your family/friends own the property?

Safety is the most important thing in any paintball field.

Go over your prospective field and look for hazards try to remove all metal and broken glass that may be in the field if any.

I would recommend not using glass on a paintball field too great a chance of injury. Plexiglas and Lexan would probably be ok to use.

Make up signs that warn possible spectators like “Warning Paintball field ahead no person beyond this point without eye protection.”  About 70 yards after those signs have a sign that on one side says “Barrel plugs / Barrel sleeves can be removed at this point.” On the other side of the side have the sign say “No marker without Barrel Plugs or Barrel Sleeves beyond this point”

Those election signs would make a good holders for the above signs there easy to stick in the ground and you can hang just about anything you want on them.

As mentioned above anything that can stop paint can be made into a bunker. Your options are almost endless.

These next two items are great to have and never need.

If you can get a small first aid kit to bring with you to your field they are good for cleaning up minor scrapes and cuts help prevent infection

A cell phone or another reliable means of communication in case an ambulance is needed.

The last thing you need for your field is some friends and have a good time.

If you have the money, a grenadeapult or a button you press at a certain area to cover a different area with paint or something cool like that would draw attention to your feild, and you could up your field fee.  Paint and/or Co2 refills for sale would be excellent, and you could make some decent money off those sales.

If it's just a field, all day play should be about $15-$18 but if it's a big game, scenario, or souped-up field like I mentioned earlier, you could charge $20, or $25 for a souped-up big/scenario game.

For "Mayhem Tek Paintball" as your home field, how about "Mayhem Mechanics", or Mayhem + something-that-has-to-do-with-technology.
