I finally got some digital pictures of our firearms collection. I'm working on a photo album that'll be easier to look at, but for now, here's just a few of my favorite shots.

Here's the whole collection

Me and my pride and joy, original Mk3 British enfield that I paid 200 bucks for.
Some of the longarms up close. Left to right: .58 Zouave Rifle Double barrel 20Ga Savage 30.06 M1903 30.06 Springfield (Sporterized) Mk3 .303 British (see above pic) 30.40 Kraig (sporterized 11mm Mauser Marlin 30.30
Some of the pistols up close
I won't list all the pistols, there's some repeats there, if you're curious, ask.
I have a bunch more, but I don't want to make this thread completely huge...
All together, there are over 30 firearms, most of which are antique, or replica antiques Eventually I'll get the whole collection appraised....

We managed to pick up quite a few this summer alone. We ran into a guy that was selling off his father in law's collection. We got an 11mm mauser for 50 bucks, the .303 for 200 bucks, and the 30/40 kraig for 150 bucks.
The rest have bene acrued through several years of reenacting, and a general interest in firearms.

Sell? Never. I plan on being buried with a couple of them, I'd just like to know what the collection is worth.

Now, a few questions.
1) Bottom, left hand pistol in the pistol only picture. Is that a LeMat? If so, antique or replica?
2) (Possibly answered by the first) Any black powder revolvers in the bunch? If so, where do you find them? I'm in the market for an antique black powder pistol.

That is a Lematts. Reproduction. There's no way I'd ever afford an antique.
With the exception of a .22 pistol, they're all black powder pistols. We use them to reenact. There's quite a few places you can get them too, as you don't need a permit to purchase them. I'll pm you a few sights.

That's my father's Savage 30.06. That rifle is older than I am, I couldn't begin to tell you what that particular model would cost now. I'll have my father put an estimate on it and get back to you.

Me too, but I paid nothing for the springfield, so I wasn't going to argue. I'm in the process of restoring the original stock, but it's so water damaged that I'm afraid it's warped beyond repair.
If anyone knows where I could find a reproduction stock for a M1903 springfield, I'd be forever in your debt.

You can't say what you REALLY think about me, remember, this is a family forum.
In terms of pistols, what are you looking for exactly? I can probably find you places that are better priced than cabellas. I have a few sutlers and things that I do business through for reenacting. One of them I even get a discount off through one of my membership to a living history organization. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll try and trakc something down for you so you aren't paying through the nose.
