^^Maybe its just a back-up gun. I think it looks awesome. The barrel is a bit long, but as long as it preforms how you want it.

ya, get like a 3 or five inch barrel and a 12gram co2 adapter and it will be perfect.

it's not mine, and the feed tube clips on in place of the elbow. to take it off, all you have to do is press the front sight, and pull the pins out of the holder, just like the regular feed neck.

Thatd be cool if the owner made a shroud to cover the barrel so you could still have a good barrel but have the lookof a pistol with a silencer. I still think the idea of a 98 pistol is stupid but im trying to have an open mind.

Thats pretty cool. But it seams that the sown size to it would be its weight and barrel length, for a pistol paintball gun.

true the barrel is pretty long kinda defeats the purpose of having a pistol side-arm-- know what i mean

but still very cool

me and a friend of mine have tried similar ideas before.

yeah, smaller barrel and maybe 12 gram co2. that would be pretty cool.

You gotta cut the front grip off and figure out how to run the co2 directly to the power tube

I miss my old backup gun, M85 ( same size and look of a mac 10) fired 9 mm paintaballs using reloadable plastic casings and Large rifle primers to propel the round. Unfortunately they were outlawed some years back. I used to love clearing bunkers with that piece.

98c w/ barrel so small that the ball won't have time to stabalize thus resulting in lowered range/accuracy..

Actually I know many people who have cut their stock barrel to like 2" and it works fine.

First of all, you dont have to "cut it off" all you have to do is remove it by taking the screw out and taking it out.  That is unless you mean the whole thing.  And second of all, the C02 already does go strait to the powertube...

Ive got an Idea to Improve it, and make it run 12 grams direct into the valve.

First, get a Quick 12 gram change adaptor to put 12g into.

http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item=2006 - Like this one

Then, loctite a ASA-1/8 NPT adaptor fitting to the male ASA fitting on the quick change adaptor. Like this one:

And finally, loctite a 1/8 NPT extension to THAT to make it reach the valve of the 98C. Like this one:

(Both of the above items pcitured are for sale at http://www.palmer-pursuit.com - Palmer's Pursuit )

Whaddya think?
