no scope to begin with... there is no use for them, paintball guns arent that accurate, dont shoot that far, and it gives you major tunnel vision.

and a 16 inch barrel is kind of a waste, 14 is all you need at max.

its all preference though, some people love the 98c and hate the a-5, others hate the 98c and love the a-5...

I would go with the A-5 becouse the scope wont help u much becouse it takes awhile for u to get your gun set and ready looking thro the scope and half of the time u just end up missing anyways.

And about the barrell, anything that is 12" or over is fine. The extra 4" dosent make much of a diffrents

You know, he gave you some good advice.  Unless you're doing a lot of scenario games AND are in a scout role, a standard magnified scope is worthless.  A red-dot sight, that's a different story.

As for the marker choice...well, are you wanting a really high rate of fire out of the box and more of an MP5 look to your marker or are you looking for tried and true with the ability to choose your own hopper?  From what I've seen you can't go wrong with either marker.

Oh, and before you go off on me about the scope thing...here's my rig...and yes, I do a lot of scenario...and I scout.

And since I couldn't make up my mind about the M-4 look or the MP5 look...and since it would be nice to have more of a "speedball" sized marker...my new aquisition...

So really, it is up to you what you prefer better.  Maybe if you gave the guys a little more info on what kind of paintball you play most and what you're looking for in a marker they can give you a little more personallized advice.
