in my owners manual, one of the safety things says: "Pressurize and load the gun only when the gun will be immediately used. Unload and remove the CO2 cylinder immediately after use for safe storage." I always take my tank off when im done, but in pics i see people will have their gun mounted and the tank will still be on the gun. So, is it a big deal to leave your tank on, or no? |

And besides the pressure on the internals, if anything bumps the trigger and for some odd reason the safety isn't on, 290 FPS air can do a lot of damage if pointed at the wrong thing. ------------- A5 Flatline Car stock w/ built-in RVA Remote 20oz Co2 Leatherman Wave (for repairs) |

Just remove it to be safe, and store it properly, (as in not sitting in the sun for 6 hours)

YEAH I HAD THE SAME QUESTION AND WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD LEAVE IT IN B/C I LOSE A LOT OF AIR SCREWING AND UNSCREWING ALL OF THE TIME AND IM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD KEEP IT PRESSURIZED. HMM.....SHOULDA DONE A POLL FOR THIS ONE. ------------- I'm going to the darkside... |

If you see a gun that has the tank permanently mounted they are either, A. an idiot B. using an on/off C. unsing an on/off with a cradle. Never keep your marekr pressurized for prolonged period of time. The extra stress on the springs will weaken them. ------------- http://www.anomationanodizing.com - My Site

most pictures of gun have an on/off, or the tank are not screwed in all the way. its best to unscrew your tank when you are not using it, you wont lose a noticible amount of air ------------- http://img204.imageshack.us/my.php?image=260991706090alb8rs.jpg">

I Leave a ENTIRELY scrap tank attached to my gun all the time.
The tank is 100% epty and i have removed the valve to be shure of
this. The tank is not TC stamped and can no longer be filled so i
have no use for it other than i use it to make the gun fit on my gun

Just take your tank off its easy and safe. It takes like 30 seconds max. It is dangerous to leave your tank on even if you have an on/off I do and still tank my tank off. You can leave it in but don't do it for more then a few hours. They do that because they have on and offs. Or its not in all the way. Or their tank is empty. And you will blow orings and you only loose like 10 shots I think it is when you remove it. Its better to lose 10 shots then a gun cause then you can't use any more shots. -------------
