ok i have a question... a freind of mine and myself are trying to make scilencers for our paintball guns and so far we have one set of plans from a pb range clse to Ft. Bragg though we are having problems with them working and was hopping that maybe any of you all would possibly give us a new set of plans . ill give you the plans we got to see if brilliant minds might help us improve them. Ok first you start with a peice of pvc pipe that fits snugg on your barrel and make sure it hangs over you barrel about 4 or five inches. take that peice and drill if full of holes. from the end of your barrel to the end of the pipe then get a peice of pipe thats half an inch bigger and fix it to the small pipe were their is space around the small pipe and stuff that space full of cotton and tape off the end of the barrel to keep the cotton in and cut a hole threw the tape for the ball to come threw.. and test it to see if it works and attatck it to the end of your barrel... thats it. allhelp is thanked. |

Yeah, making silencers is illegal, even if they are just for a paintball marker. Sorry kid, your out of luck. No help here. Btw, try lacing the inside of the pvc pipe with steel wool, I hear that works. ------------- I don't go out with girls anymore I live a life of danger I stay at home and play with myself WEEE! Its SILENCER not SCILENCER and its illegal to make a working silencer and use it on a paintball marker. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

you got it almost right. You dont use tape, though... you make the inner
pipe 2 inches longer and endcap the larger pipe, with a tight hole drilled for the inner pipe. you also dont stuff it witth cotton. you use steel wool like our friend above said, or you pack it, and i mean tightly, with tiny metal, preferably zinc washers. that is your poor man's SURPRESSOR right there. i say surpressor and noot silencer because silencer is incorrect movie slang, and true weaponss designers and gunmen know this ingenious piece of quipment as a surpressor. spray paint it black and never use it in tourney play oor in the open. take it off of your gun when not in use and hide it wherever. cause youre screwed iif youre caught. last note, dont waste your time withh a surpressor any shorter than 6 inches. enjoy. ------------- wow. you could really mess somebody up with that mother... |

Well, go right ahead...make yer silencer, you'll find out right away when a cop is confiscating yer marker from you cus, you made and used an illegal apparatis (dunno if I spelled that correctly), jus because each shot you make on yer marker is loud and you you really think bout it, no matter what barrel you use, you will still be heard. And I jus noticed this.....yer tryin to be a paintball sniper huh?!?!? ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

thanks all for the help.. and straghtening me out on that i knew they were illegal for firearms just not markers im debating on weather to even do it now.. thinking more along the lines of a whisper barrel or boomstick that way i can be legal when playing pb thanks all.
