ok folks, here i am again, showing you the 2 new creations, and the redone AK-47. i hope you all enjoy these, for i had fun making all of them. use your imagination when designing your markers, it's the greatest gift of all.
john.
Here is my AK, redone. i stripped off the paint, made a new stock, and put on some Oak vinyl on the E-grip, that crap you buy in rolls, looks pretty good. A-5, Egrip, flatline, polished internals, offset sight mount, red dot.
Here is the MP-5 i told you about. NOTE: i could not for the life of me find a MP-5 Gas thru mag, so i got the AK one. if you did not notice, thanks, but detail kills this one. i took the stock off the old AK project, but i cut 1 1/2" out of the middle to shorten it. I made the foregrip out of some old oak i had lying around, and just glued the front sight in the top. A-5, Egip, Armson, polished internals.
this was a total impulse creation. bored to tears, finals had ended, i needed something to do. Make a Tommy gun! so, i did. The drum is a PVC drain cover with Lexan covers, mounted to the 98 by an oak slab that fits like the stock foregrip. the foregrip shown is solid oak, as well as the stock. 98C RT, 14" dye Xcel barrel.
i know i've posted this one before, but i like it. it is the most unique thing i have ever created. it gets the most attention. the top piece was a oak 1x3 i cut and hewed to match the stock, stained super dark to match the mahogany. M-1 Garande stock, metal parts kit, Stock Automag, butchered trigger frame, 18" All American, paperclip trigger link, AGD sight rail.
And the one that started it all. new additions: Magazine well, trigger spring tension reduced, no problems so far.
Pro-lite, 18" All American, PL sight rail, red dot, flashlight. new true M-16 stock in the works, just need time to hew it out.
Here is myself in front of my creations.
And something you won't see very often with paintball guns. Stacked Arms.
Thank you for looking at my post, and i hope the pics aren't too huge for all you poor souls with dial-up. i spent lots o' time on these, and your thoughtful input is appreciated.
john.

i don't like OpsGear. i MAKE all my own things, their overpriced, and there is nothing better than to be covered in Sweat and Sawdust. i had to think about buying the Mag for the MP-5, for that would be breaking my own code. but i couldn't find an MP-5 Mag, and making a x-chamber is not my forte.

i made these as protypes, and to someday make a website, but the prices for all the labor makes them sorta as much as a high cocker or impulse. Take the AK for example, all the labor, plus the marker (239), egrip and flatline (110 each), and that's 500 right there. throw in 15 hours of labor for the stock and front, and it adds up to alot more than kids want to spend. they can get a decent Angel or a nice Impulse for the price of the AK, $950. but i can make all of them again, and each will have their own unique qualities, for they all will be hand made. i thought about it. i talked to the bank about it. but school is a priority, i need to get my degree.

if you can make stuff like that i bet you can make some kind of easy yet pratical kit to put on the 98c or a5 to lower the cost. you could open a shop where people send you there gun and you make mods then give it back to them, like the people who turtle cockers

true, i thought about that, if i were ever to open a shop, that is how it would be. it would have to mainly A-5's, for they are easier to mount things onto. the 98 is sorta a bear to mount things.
