alright so, i live in maryland, and i realize that laws differ from state to state, so bear with me.
1) is any sort of under lighting legal for a car? before you call me an asian overdosing on rice, just answer the quetsion, is under glow legal?
2) Burning out. Is it any way illegal to jump out from a green light if your in the front of a line of cars at a stop light? I mean hell, its a blast, i dont get my tires smoking in the least, but is it okay to like jerk out into an intersection if you're on green as long as you slow down to the speed limit/never break it? I mean, why the heck doesnt everybody drag at lights and just let go of the gas a couple mph short of the limit?
mkthx

Damnit.
How could they pin you for a squeal? I dont jump enough to sqeal the tires, so i guess i'm okay.
In MD they're talking about passing a law that says if you can hear a car's music with the windows up and doors closed outside the range of 10 feet, its a ticked. how stupid is that...

yeah. it's illegal. and you really don't want to get caught jumping a light like that. cops like to give out street racing tickets for it.

You can get a ticket for exhibition driving.
Where I live lights are legal as long as they aren't red yellow or green.

as long as they don't flash you should be ok. Its illegal but most won't bug you for it.
But yeah, burning out is a good way to draw unwanted attention.
Oh, and strobes are an absolute nono. Only Police and emergency vehicles can have strobes, thats a much bigger ticket.

yeah dude, my friend was driving down the highway, and he had strobes in his corner lights (next to the headlights) and he has the switches right by his knee, and he accidently flipped them on... bad stuff. They pinned a ticket on him for that, not even a warning.

Down here, the underlights are illegal and annoying as hell. People down here are stupid enough to get distracted an go "ooooooh, look at the pretty lights". Then they rear-end someone and are "how did that happen?" I dont know about the light thing.

Most states, I believe would allow "Underlights " , but as with any light , they cannot display ANY color that would be used by an emergency vehicle , (Fire Engine , Police , Ambulance ) red , blue and yellow are definitly out , check with your DMV fotr specifics , they should know .
Why do they get all the Pretty colors ?!?

here in ohio the under glow of cars is legal, but the light has to stay under the car. It cant be shining like 10 feet out from all sides, it must be UNDER the car.
And as for accelerating off a green light..I dont see how they could possibly give you a ticket for accelerating fast as long as you dont go over the speed limit.
