If I wanted to watch a bunch of hoolagans run around on stage with masks on, then I would go to a circus and watch the clowns!

i dont. I count up to 10 slipknot shirts at my school daily and it gets so old because they all look the same. One kid had a slipknot button-up shirt on and i saw him later with it off and he had a slipknot t-shirt on. It gets really old and they're not even that good IMO, but some of the masks are cool and thats it. Plus, all the people who like slipknot most likely are into Insane Clown Posse too and i CANNOT stand ICP.

I'm sorry but I feel Slipknot is a really good band. They're music is awesome and their lyrics are great. The only reason a lot of you music listeners hate them is because they got popular with the obnoxious "freak" pre-teens and 13 year olds. I agree that a lot of these idiots like them because they just like listening to slipknot because they scream and curse a lot. But if you really listen to them their music is really good and there is a lot of talent there and they're lyrics are awesome. I've been to a slipknot concert and it was one of the most amazing performances i've ever seen. Their new album has shown how much they've matured over the years and they went down on the excessive profanity and starting playing more listening music which I think shows how great of musicians these guys are even though nothing compares to their self-titled album

. I'd just like to hear reasons why you people don't like them besides the same usual stupid remarks like they look like clowns, and maggots, screaming, cursing, masks, etc.

I don't like Slipknot because they have 9 members...but I have yet to identify any need for them to have more than 5 or 6 members.

Hey I like this Shocker guy!

Ya' listen to the music the drums the bass and the guitar. I bet half of these guys couldn't play as good a like Mike from Slipknot or Joey from Slipknot.

Also the Sublimedal Verses is really a good album. Listen to #6 on that album and all the other songs. They aren't just about screaming and cussing. Like shocker said they have matured.

heh very true...they haven't needed sid the DJ since they're first album and the two extra bass drummers they have aren't really needed

They have 9 guys for Head Paraders like Clown and for custom percussion.

In like Iowa and the self titled album they use like cahin's and stuff to make sound effects.

And in Duality the music video clown takes a bat and beats on a couple of like 55 gallon drums and beer kegs and it actually sounds kind of cool and makes them unike.

No other band does that.

Yeah, the extra drums actually give it an origional sound compared to other bands, which is what I like about them.

First of all, i started reading this and on the first page, there was a person i planned on quoting. Then i read on and guess what? Why cant we all just agree that they are no talent ass clowns that lack so much in talent that they have to dress up like halloween charecters just to keep pot smokin dirt balls entertained.
