Yep so my dad found my pipe. He stumbled apon it this morning and
just told me now. I was thinking of lying about it somehow but i
decided to just be a man and just tell him strait up. He says that he
really doesnt care now because i told the truth. I'm probably gunna

Never have or will do any drugs. Dont smoke never have. Rarly ever drink. Get my high off of diesel fumes  as i lay a cloud into the ricer beside me. It takes absoulty nothing to quit pot.... I did it. Well, I guess
it is if you dont have a good reason, but you do so... yeah. The
longest ive been is like four months, but like I said I had no real
reason to quit so I smoked 3 more times now Ive been clean for like 2
months.

That's not as bad as the kids at my school who yesterday decided to take out a bowl and start smoking right on the school track. Lucky for them it was really foggy out and the gym teachers couldn't see them from the other side of the track. -------------  "Rock and Roll ain't noise pollution"

everybody at my school does the dip can shtuff. All of the male teachers in my school either chew or dip. nasty stuff. Even when they are in class they do that **edited**. They do sunflower seeds in class too. -------------

In my experience telling the truth always works better than attempting to get away with whatever you did wrong by lying.
The punishment is never as severe and most of times there never is one. Im glad you actually did the right thing and admitted that it was yours. You have my respect for doing the right thing. Telling the truth must be a good thing. I did the same thing when I got busted about 3 weeks ago. Now all I have to do is pass a drug test or two, and there's not really any other punishment. -------------

High on life isn't a cliche. Getting high could never compare to some of the experiences I've had, like skydiving, racing my bike, or being stuck on the top of the ferris wheel with my girlfriend for an hour. There are too many things to do in life than waste your time and money doing dope. One of these days you are going to apply for a job, and on the application they'll ask if you've ever tried using illegal drugs. You may try the honest approach, in which case you won't get hired, or you may decide to lie. Your guess is off. 1) I don't really use it, since I haven't smoked in almost a month. There's a good chance I've quit for good, but I'm not going to say it's 100%. 2) I don't think it's completely safe, but it's nowhere NEAR as harmful as the media would have you believe. Pot doesn't destroy lives. Society destroys the lives of those that smoke pot. I've never heard of anyone around where I live getting in an accident because of pot. Alcohol, yes. Pot, no. -------------

anways, i've seen alcohol have the exact same effects on peoples lives

Well then I guess your area isnt the same as my area of the country. There have been so many deaths, just from car accidents, that are attributed to smoking weed in Orlando. So yes, by your logic all pot smokers would be squeaky clean, models for socity if not for the big bad Society keeping them down. -------------

Should we congradulate him on something that he's sort of almost quitting? Something that's illegal in the first place? Should we congradulate him on being caught? I'm with Vitimin on this one. I don't think that's true either. But then again, not all "clean" people are "models for society" either, are they? I don't think smoking pot makes you any worse, or any better of a person. If someone really thinks they need it to deal with their problems, fine. I'd rather see people mask their problems than commit suicide or something just because they have nothing to help them. If there's one thing that makes people feel good, and it does very little harm in the big scheme of things, who has any right to take that away from them?
