Hello,

I am ordering a pair of these headphones:

Now the catch is that I need a power converter since these headphones are only distributed in euro.. I am wondering if this power adapter will have sufficient ability to convert the power safely for the headphones.

For use with motorized, electronic or heating appliances rated up to 40 watts maximum.

Features:
• Ideal for curling irons, electric shavers, calculators, radios, CD players, cassette recorders
• Converts North American electricity (110/120VAC) to Continental Europe standard (220/240VAC) to operate foreign devices in North America

Thanks.

I have no idea why the links were not working, so I'll just post the information on the thread.

well since it outputs 40 amps max and the headphones use (as it appears) 500 milliAmps, I would say you would be ok.

Your headset delivers 3 watts to the speakers ,maximum , and the adapter can put out 40 watts max , so you'll be just fine

Anything in particular the headphones are for, or just for your listening pleasure?

They are 5.1 surround sound headphones, 4 speakers in each earpad..

I have a Altec Lansing 5.1 speaker system already, But the reason I am getting the headphones are:

1. Parents and siblings for some reason dont like being woken up st 1 AM by booming bass from a arty shell exploding in a game..

2. LAN parties, cant ever bring speakers to a LAN party, so if I have 5.1 headphones, all the better for me ;)

2. Bring them over to my friends so when we play games there, I dont have to listen to their horrendessly sucky sound.

After 3 months of researching the Medusa 5.1 seem to be the way to go, so I spent another month finding some one in euro I could order from and now their finnaly on their way... I will make a post reviewing them when they get here, Because im sure quite a few people think their a gimmick... I am a audiofile so I will be reviewing these hard.
