anyone ever use one of these or know how they perform? They look like a really neat idea but i dont know how well the .40 caliber paintball would work since it has less mass i would assume it wouldn't travel as far and the whatnot. anyone have any info or opinions on these. They also have a really really cool pistol.

PS. Im not looking at buying one but if they perform really well then maybe in the future i would look into it. If I get into scenario games more I'll seriously look into the pistol.

Ive never used one, but why would less mass equal less travel.Since its not as big as a .60 caliber paintball there less wind resitance. Also it uses less air to push it since its lighter. So technically if you put a 40 caliber into a marker and shot it. THen put a 60 caliber into the marker with the same air setting the 40 caliber would go farther.

I have had one of the first models that was just full auto and then later i sold that and got one of the newer ones that can be switched from full to semi. But I hated it cause it have the same range as a tippmann or regular gun. i mean it was good for playing indoors but for woods ball if you play with some one with a real paintball gun they can out shoot you big time I like my AT-85 better.

but that is just my two cents

I prsonall havent used one, but guys at local shops and fields seem to dislike them. I think its because the paint is so expensive for a case. They look cool, but i would never use one. I'm not into the whole life-like gun idea.

I just think the gun is really cool looking and the whole actualy using a realistic clip is really cool too. The pistol though it really neat for how compact it is. If i got anything from them first would have to be the pistol. But hell why buy the pistol when i could get a new a-5 for less.

yeah paint is expensive. to comment on the less mass = more distance try throwing a styrafome(sp?) ball and a base ball and see which one flies straiter and is less affected by air resistence. you can try a smaller styrafome ball if you want not matter what more force can be put behind the more massive object.
