Yuck on the barrel, and i would say if your gonna use a scope like
that, you should move it so the two mounts strattle the front sight.

I don't know why you guys think the barrel is so bad, it's working nice for me.
First time I used it in combat, I was getting guys with 3 shots or less.
Way better than my old spyder.
And the guys I play with, cause they're in the military, (like me), always have really good camo on them, but I can spot anything with my scope. The course I play on is all woods, and has alot of good concealment areas, so it's easy to hide. I've had guys less than 10 feet from me, and they didn't see me, so that gives you an idea of how good the hiding places are.
In a nutshell, the scope serves its purpose, and allows me to spot people easier.
Plus, the whole layout of the gun makes it VERY intimidating to the other players, and freaks them out.

Dude, you need a life.
---------------
Yes, it's a remote line from 32 degrees, and the JCS folding stock is phenomenal, and that bi-pod is sweet too!!! Even when the bi-pod is folded it still serves a purpose. If I'm resting the barrel low, and on like a rock or something rough, it helps protect the barrel.
The remote line and folding stock are usually what I use for a serious woodsball game, but if it's really hot out and/or I don't feel like wearing equipment, and don't care about uber amounts of camo either, I'll just throw a 20 oz tank right to the marker, and have a tank-mount stock on it instead.
By ASA, I assume you mean the air hookup? It's the hookup for the remote line, then the expansion chamber, then the air pressure gauge, and finally the bottom line hookup on the marker.
And yes, the barrel works great! So please stop saying the barrel doesn't work great, cause you don't even have the barrel.

Actually, my marksmanship, with any gun, is kinda poor. I make up for it in tactics I've learned.
Like I've said, I can hide so well, I've had people LESS than 10 feet from me and they didn't see me.
I've also gotten right up to people on about a dozen occasions, and literally tagged them out, without shooting them, and avoiding being shot at.
I've also lead paintball teams in flanking assaults, with people specifically "prayin' n' sprayn'" and surpressing the enemy, while the one shot killers surround the enemy, and take them out, without any losses on my team.
----------
So really, tactics are just as important as marksmanship.

"O yea cause we all know u get soo muchsa betterz distance & accccuracy wit a langer barel." Yea you really know what your talking about. 21" is a huge waste of air and it does nothing in preformance to help you. You WILL NOT get better accuarcy you WILL NOT get more distance and it WILL NOT make your gun any quieter. All you do is waste air. The longer the barrel the more air pressure is needed to propel the ball out the barrel. Also after 14" the ball will start to slow down. Overall a 21" barrel is a waste of money and is nothing but overkill when a 14" or 16" barrel will do the same thing as a 21" barrel.

If you want to get a shorter barrel and keep a good bipod, you can put a swivel stud in the foregrip and a harris bipod will fit right on. Did it myself and I use an Armson stealth barrel. Now I can switch my bipod from my prolight to my flatline and back again if I want to.

Are you crazy? First, you aren't in combat, paintball is a sport, not war.
Second, that barrel lowers efficiency, and adds weight, that's idiotic,
the bipod is only needed because you can't hold the weight of that
heavy gun. I bet if I were to paly you with my chrome gun, you
would see me, and shoot at me, and miss, then I'd shoot at you, and
miss, but hit that ginormous gun.

ok, first off, i like your gun. I agree your barrel does out go the whole (i've always gone by) 16" then waste of air rule of thumb, but i like that you're thinking on your own. It's your gun, so have fun with it. Now, on to the dude that was saying that Military=Accuracy, remember this my confused, but trying, friend. In paintball, you are shooting a SPHERICAL object, full of LIQUID. put the 2 together and you have one of the WORST ammunitions when it comes to accuracy. And i'm done with you. Hm...
-------------
|
Posted By: BearClaw
Date Posted: 10 October 2004 at 9:14am
Yeah sounds good Enos but the prob here would be the 98c end cap does
not thread into place like the carbines but rather ust gets clamped in
when you put the halfs togeather . It is like it is straight
threaded instead of sprield if that makes sence to you.
It could be done by simply makeing a end cap for the carbine that has a
peice stick out that is threaded like the 98c but is only one
half of it. The other half would be bolted on type of deal.
The thing is i dont know how strong this would be.
My plans were to just make an adapter that would have a pin the slided
into the hole of the carbine end cap and a round METAL cover that goes
over the endcap to prevent side to side woble. then mount a
coustom maid stained wood stock to the end cap i got al the wood
working stuff to do it jut no time. And agina i dont know if it
will be strong enough.

Enos: is the end cap of hte procarbine smaller htne that of the 98c?
You could drill and tape a huge hole in the back of the 98c, so to
change then, just keep the cap on the 98c, and unscrew the stock.

Yuck on the barrel, and i would say if your gonna use a scope like
that, you should move it so the two mounts strattle the front sight.

ummm NO u cant do that if u actually have look down a scope then u have
to be a sertain distance from it to actually see with out having
blacked out speces ur thinking only cosmetically not economically no
offence

Now that was a real intellegent response...not.
Your replying to months old posts on a subject that your demistrating that you don't have a real tactical grasp of.
The cussing only further demostrates your feable knowledge.
Before you continue this any farther, go and do some research into what skills and tactics are required to diferentiate a sniper from soldier. Next look at what the reality of the tactical environment of paintball is. Then attempt to effectively apply the realworld requirements to the paintball environment.
Or you can search for posts were others (like myself and oldsoldier) have already done that and you'll see how foolish your current arguments really are.

woodball anyday. Plus he's in the military so you
know he has a good shot. What a bunch of Ebert and
Roepers(aka a-holes). Good job on the

Hahaha, you're so wrong it's awesome. 21" is less
accurate, and less efficient than a 12" or 14" I can
understand the whole "sniper" look for
scenarios..but c'mon man...

need to bump this.
