Well I use the red/white/yellow wires to hook the box up to my TV and I also have an RF adapter. That is the only way I think you can hook it up to anything unless your moniter has those. I am sure there is a way but I don't know what it would be.

do you mean like...play off your computer monitor? I don't think you can, unless you have a monitor that doubles as a T.V., I've seen those around. And if you mean play over the internet, no you don't need Xbox live, just get XBC(Xbox connect) its free, not as good, but it gets the job done.

You need a video card that supports it. I dont think there is a way that you can do it straight from the monitor, but I know you can do it with a video card that has TV In/Out.

It might, the yellow is video, red and white are audio(not sure which is stereo) try it, then get back in here, cuz if it works on your computer, it should work on mine

Also works for every other system.

Wrong.

You can play online completely free and out of the box by using xbconnect, which someone already linked to.

It can lag at times but its generally not all that bad, all you need is network the xbox, download the app, and youre good to go.
