Actually the barrels for the SL-68 II do not have any threads. Tippmann sells a sniper barrel (if they have any left) and J&J Performance makes one they sell direct.

Good to see people still buying pumps. Still have mine I bought 11 years ago.

Yup, they're threadless. They have a screw in the front of the gun that clamps the barrel into place. The only aftermarket barrel I've found for them is a 14'' J&J Ceramic. I use it and love it. You can get them off http://www.countypaintball.com - www.countypaintball.com

If you're going to spend that kind of cash, keep in mind LAPCO's new-issue Grey Ghosts. Limited run of 100 happening now, more in the future if those sell quick.

Also, for aftermarket SL barrels, any 68 Special barrel will fit, and Palmer will still make one for any gun out there.

Personally, I've got a 13" original-style Armson on mine, but I'm probably going to pick up a LAPCO Bigshot and have it milled to fit.

Pump play and semi play are two different things. That's like telling a trucker to ditch his 18-wheeler and get a Mustang.

Why?? Cuase you dont sling your hopper of paint in 4 seconds?? Well, I tell you what, thats total BS, cause anyone with any gun can compete with anyone else. You just have to learn the basics, then learn more as you play.

Pumps is cool, Pumps CAN rule , dont be a fool .

Learn how to play , Yes, Yer pump wont put asmany pounds of paint in the air as a Cocker , but a Manure spreader has a High volume rating too  , I'd rather place my shots .

Technically, those with a cocker are really playing with a tricked out WGP Sniper pump, remind them of that. If there wasn't the sniper to begin with, there would be no cockers.

Also, if you are playing with your pump against semis, be sure there is a good ref around, cuz the paint hosers hate to call themselves out when hit by a pump.

SL-68 II barrels need to be threadless

You can either mill the threads off a barrel, or get the J&J 14" Barrel.
