What kind of barrel threads does the SL-68 use? Are there any aftermarket barrels for it?
Thanks, I just purchased one and its in the mail, so i want info before it gets here |

Actually the barrels for the SL-68 II do not have any threads. Tippmann sells a sniper barrel (if they have any left) and J&J Performance makes one they sell direct. Good to see people still buying pumps. Still have mine I bought 11 years ago. ------------- "We do it until our balls break!"

Yup, they're threadless. They have a screw in the front of the gun that
clamps the barrel into place. The only aftermarket barrel I've found
for them is a 14'' J&J Ceramic. I use it and love it. You can get

If you're going to spend that kind of cash, keep in mind LAPCO's new-issue Grey Ghosts. Limited run of 100 happening now, more in the future if those sell quick.
Also, for aftermarket SL barrels, any 68 Special barrel will fit, and Palmer will still make one for any gun out there. Pumps is cool, Pumps CAN rule , dont be a fool . Learn how to play , Yes, Yer pump wont put asmany pounds of paint in the air as a Cocker , but a Manure spreader has a High volume rating too , I'd rather place my shots . ------------- SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Technically, those with a cocker are really playing with a tricked out WGP Sniper pump, remind them of that. If there wasn't the sniper to begin with, there would be no cockers. Also, if you are playing with your pump against semis, be sure there is a good ref around, cuz the paint hosers hate to call themselves out when hit by a pump. ------------- "We do it until our balls break!"

that is exactly what i suggested to him when he asked me about pumps...lol yeah phantoms are really nice, WGP Snipers are good also, but overpriced. -------------

SL-68 II barrels need to be threadless
You can either mill the threads off a barrel, or get the J&J 14" Barrel. -------------
