comments like this are upsetting since you equate hardcore to some of the worst kids on earth... when in reality if you actually went to a real hardcore show... you'd see that the kids are way different... and not some weirdos...

check out these bands: punishment, death before dishonor, madball, H2O, all else failed, death threat, blood for blood, vod, blacklisted, pride kills, terror.... these bands play real hardcore... and attract much better crowds....

i don't think so.... i still hate norma jean.... and all of the other bands posted by glassjaw....

norma jean is to hardcore as snipers are to paintball...

just b/c norma jean is on a small label and plays some smaller venues, and they feature misplaced breakdowns, screechy riffs, and screamy vocals... it doesn't make them hardcore by any means...

every band glassjaw listed is part of the "metalcore" subgenre... which is a combination of really bad metal riffs with ripoff hardcore breakdowns... it attracts skinny suburban kids with tight girl jeans, white belts, shaggy haircuts, and brass knuckles... these kids were listening to Matchbox20 last year and walk into a scene they know nothing about like they own the place... they mosh like its ozzfest, try and act tough, and get beat up... this music is terrible... the fans are even worse... and the fact that hardcore is being disgraced by bands and people like this is upsetting...

some of their early stuff wasn't bad... but overall their music has been copy catted time and time again... and it is awful...

patton should just stick to faith no more and release another album like the real thing.... mr bungle was god awful too...

i like tomahawk and fantomas...faith no more was the best by far but they started to go down hill once they kicked the one guitarist out of the band...bungle is still his only band that stayed consistant with great music and actually sounded awesome in live performance
