I kniw this is a tippmann forum, but which one would you suggest I get for a low income front gun?

 

Is there really a difference?

I would save for a tipp. I personally hate the xtra and shutter. I only like th newer spyders. I think the old spyders are ok.....But the 98c or a new spyder are like soooooo much better.

well...spyders kinda suck...get a pmi...there are some with e-forces (electronic triggers) that are around 130-150 bucks somtimes...theres a kid at my local feild selling a pmi w/e-force, freak, and detonator for $80...yeah...i said it...80 bucks

The difference is that the Shutter has a barrel shroud(that'll come in handy) and a Kingman reg. The regs aren't impressive at all and have a rep of being somewhat restrictive. If you had to get one of those it's really a toss up. IMO you'd be better off getting an '04 Imagine. It shouldn't cost too much more than a Shutter and alot more bang for your buck -
