I wonder how much the DM5 will cost and if it will have an LCD screen or LED dip switch like the O4's. Even though the picture doesn't show alot the 05 pretty much looks like an 04 DM4.The only real difference that I can see is better milling, clamping feedneck, different trigger and frame. If that's it then nobody is going to get the 05 when you can get a Dm4 for 1000. -------------

different trigger, no rise, which means no bump like the dm4, i think the grip frame is the same. some kinda dye barrel, probably an ultralight. and i see it may come with a bottomline -------------

Yeah, looks like all they did was milled off the bump to accept a low
rise, moved the reg closer to the grip frame, and changed the trigger.
Hopfully they redid something in the bolt so it doesn't have the crappy
efficency the DM4 has. It better come out soon, then I can pick up a
DM4 for cheaper...

| Just researched it a little, yea the difference is gonna be the price, the DM5 is going to cost MSRP: $2000. Thats insane, probably the most expensive gun out there. I'll take 3 of em. |

IF it really does cost close to $2000 then it probably would be the most expesive paintball gun out there on the market. Up to now the most expensive tourney gun I saw was the Atomix Timmy costing $1,600. -------------

Do some reasearch. The Matrix both 03 and 04 have horrible gas efficiency. Thats why they made a Evolution bolt for the DM4. -------------

| DROOOOOOOOOOOOLING!!!!!!!!! It looks AWESOME!! The low rise and the blade give it a meaner look especially in the black color. Are there any diffrent firing modes, and is it faster? Does anyone know if the Hyper2 reg has been fixed/changed to a more consistent one? Although I don't really care cause even the DM4 was probably more consistent than 98 Custom, even with the Dye Throttle HPA. |
