Is it bad to use a high pressure HPA tank on an autococker?  I use a 68/45 High Output (about 800 psi).  I bought a high pressure one because i had a tippmann too and in case i wanted to use my tank on my tippmann i would be able to.  My friend has a bko and he used a high pressure tank and his gun is just messed up.  Ive been using my tank on this autococker for about like 3 months and its worked fine.  Do you think bko's can handle a high pressure tank?

i think you can use a high pressure tank, i think its ok because the regulator puts it down to 230psi or whatever.

i may be wrong, never owned a low pressure gun

High output tank is the preferred tank for most cockers.  Most cockers operate at about 350 psi, and it's always good to have at least 200 psi more than your op pressure coming from the tank.

The only way your cocker cannot accept a high pressure tank is if the inline regulator can't handle it.  Very few regulators on the market can't handle a high pressure tank, and no prebuilt cocker of which I am aware uses such a reg.

My other friend is gonna buy a bko and hes gonna buy a low pressure output tank.  I had a 2nd friend who already bought one and he bought a high pressure tank, and his gun was just so messed up.  It was being starved of air, the solenoid blue, its missing screws, it leaks all over the place.  He had it for 2 days and that what happened. Idk maybe he bought a lemon but i think the regs on bkos are not so good so hes gonna buy a low pressure tank.
