No Silver bullets are very unreliable and pretty junky. Don't waste your money on a silver bullet.

My friend has a silver bullet and it's cool. It has a few good modes of fire but I'ver never played with him or seen em shoot it so I'm not sure about the performance.

^Exactly. I would much rather have a gun that i know is reliable than one I have no clue about. I have only read articles about them in magazines and they seem like a good beginner gun. I dont know how easy they break, but I doubt they break a whole lot.

my cousin has one...you will definitely need a decent motorized hopper for it, plus he had to adjust his trigger right out of the box because it was set so that it was long and barely making contact with the microswitch. Once he got it set right it was pretty zippy, seems ok for now but we'll see how it holds up in the long run.

They are decent markers. I shot it out one time with my bud from about 15 feet away, I thought I was toast becasue of his rof, but I managed to get a head shot. Definatly get a good electro hopper if you buy one.

My silver bullet was horrible, i considered it a better fruit juicer then a marker. ONE FINE DAY someone shot it in the grip and paint got inside the chip and it was all over. THANK GOD.

Mid-century?? You mean like the 1950's? You meant medieval.

Anyway, I used one as a loaner when my A-5 was in the shop, and I absolutely DESPISED it. The trigger is so light it'll shoot when you breathe wrong whle holding it, thus blasting your buddy. It has a crappy hopper port- I had to use electrical tape to hold my Revvy on. It had the "halo" effect- whatever I shot at the balls would go around it in a halo shape. It also felt cheap. I was getting ready to just throw the gun at the other team, before my fiance used it. She also hated it. Think Brass Eagle when it comes to Silver Bullets.

I don't think this is a good back up gun- get a Spyder for that. Those are a bit more durable. The Silver Bullet is for kids who are just starting and need a cheap first gun to destroy. They tend to take it easy on the "expensive" gun daddy bought for them, but they don't maintenance it because their parents will scold them for taking the gun apart and "screwing with it." Then, when it breaks due to lack of maintenance the parents blame the kid for breaking it, then turn around and... sorry, got off topic.

Well, the loaner gun I was referring to was actually the second loaner gun. The first one they tried to give me had a fried board and the bolt was jammed. It was a "new" one outta the box (used for display wall). They're not setup to last for very long. Sure it may be the best thing you've ever used, but try some other ones then you'll change your opinion.

Um... Silver Bullets are pretty bad. I had a friend that had one that blew up an o-ring in the expansion chamber when he gassed it up. They are pretty cheap guns. I would (this is a first) buy a Spyder before a Silver Bullet. The explosion was awful too. It blew up and took off both arms, one leg, freezer burned his face, knocked off his earrings, singed his butt hairs, and took off a toe... his name was "Lucky"...
