TALON TRIP MINE Here are some instructions to show you how to build a trip wire trigger for a Talon. STEP 1: Safety first
The first step is to remove the trigger guard from the talon, just use a hack saw. STEP 2:
I used a piece of metal that is used for mounting bookshelves onto walls. Cut about a 1.5 foot piece of this and bend it as shown above. STEP 3:
This piece should fit tightly around the bottom of the handle. STEP 4:
Cut another 6inch piece of metal and attach it to the trigger with duct tape. (not the cheap duck tape kind it just falls off) STEP 5:
This step has steps: 1. Find a bolt to hold both sides of the bookshelf metal together make sure it is REALLY tight. 2. Stretch some rubber bands around the trigger so that they pull the trigger towards the gun handle, the more the merrier I usually use about 3-4 rubber bands. STEP 6: Setting the trap.
Hold the trigger away from the gun as shown then insert a nail though one of the holes to hold the trigger in place. Then cock the gun. It shouldn't fire yet, If it does the trigger probably wasn't far enough away from the gun. STEP 7: Firing the trap.
Finally pull the nail out and the trigger should slam against the bolt causing the gun to fire.
This is the gun mounted on a quadpod (tripod will work just as well). I use 20lb fishing wire as trip wire. I attached some backpack straps to the bottom so I could carry it around like a backpack but the metal dug into my back when I ran so I but some old socks on the sharp ends. This is the gun with some ghillie camo.

The problem with his idea is fixable... The 20lb fishing wire could trip and hurt someone. Another thing is this idea costs to much, when you can go buy a reall trip mine. -------------

You could just put a staple in the grip behind the trigger to act as a pully hence pulling on the string pulls the trigger then mount it upside down to a stable base add foliage and bamn that took me all of 10 seconds to think up and it would wook mutch better. its lower to the ground so its less conspickuos and you loose the hole realy big but sound trigger meckanisum. realy it dosent take a rocket scirntist to figure this out you just have to remember the KISS rule Keep It Simple Stupid Now im not dising you or even the creator of the plans its just to me its a simple task made copmlicated. ------------- Tipp A-5 Opsgear Saw Shroud Opsgear G36 Folding Stock 16" j&j |

I wrote up those plans for that tripmine and put it on my little website "hickwars" when I was in highschool so I was wondering just who was selling them on ebay. having a trip mine nade you of a gun is the most retarted idea ive ever heard.
first, what would you do if you were running from bunker to bunker then all the sudden you trip and hit the ground. Hey maby would would get lucky and not inpail your self on a stick. I live in the woods in the middle on montana, ive had 3 friends go to the hospitle(sp?) becouse they triped and landed on a stick/rock/anything hard of pointy. Now if you want to indanger your friends and maby send them to the EE, go ahead. Second, what would you do if you were runnung and you were hit by a paintball from 20 feet away? I know i would not be very happy at the person that put that there. Hey maby they wold get lucky and i would beet the sont out of them when the game was over. If you like the idea of a trip mine just get a amunim(sp?) can (like pop comes in) staple it to a tree, Then get a paintgernade thred some ficking wire throught the folded part. Pull the pin and set it in the can. when some one pulls the wire the grenade will come out of the can and spray him(her) with paint. I have never done this but it should work. if you do it and get it to work pm me:) -------------
