all these paintmines ive been seeing hurl just paint around.  some one should make one that sends paintballs in every direction like a wwII landmine. 

Yes i have a couple mastermines and the things are basiclly worthless, I think we have had it actually work 3 times out of who knows how many times they were triggered and one of those was a test, and thats more times than i had a Tipmmann SB go off.

yea right^^ your friends a lier i think but i dunno how power full those things are never used one but i don't think it could actually lift someone unless he was skinny like really skinny and small

I saw the paintball claymore mine as well, it uses regular paintballs, one 12 gram Co2 cartridge, and can be set off by a trip wire or remote. It can be set in the ground with built in spikes, or it can be tied to a tree. Good stuff. I just wish I can remember where I saw it.

well silent slayer you mine sounds interesting tell me if i have this right you have a tube used as the exspansion chamber conected to a 12gram that chamber is conected to a bunch of barrels that are in a sphere.  then a ball valve with a trip wire and spring open and close the chamber.  sounds great.  if you made it a half sphere and put a spike on the bottom camoed it you could stick in the ground and it would do alot to a group along a trail.  ity would also be easy set up put in ground pull wire across tie to tree or another stake

and i just thought of a realy cool mine that would work the same but have two chambers the second will be attached to a lid that when trip the lid shoots off and sprays everyone.  if you want to get fansy you could add a wireless optical trip line.  so when the laser was cut the lid pops of and pop right into everyone.  best placement would be behind the people so you can get the group since the lead is going to breakl it and everyone else will be behind.

here you go:

take some PVC pipe. put a small funnel in it. place a 112 Gram CO2 tank in it(the funnel). now fill it with paint(melt paintballs to get good paint).put a cap on it. drill a hold right about the CO2 tank. put a spring unter the cap and stick the nail through the hole and the spring(you can use a pen spring) and when they step on it it will burst the CO2 and explode. there you go.

That pretty dangerous. What if the for of the gas rendered the nail airborne? Have you tried this? (PM me)

maybe something like a potato canon, but with a styrofoam cup with paint in it instead of the potato?
