the person who said they got their crackhead gun to get 23 bps...the gun's internals and moving parts themselves are capped at around 15-18 so its impossible to hit 23 bps -------------

From what Ive read in the past (6 months ago) someone in this forum did manage to do 20 bps wit the RT....do a search of the person who actually did it and Im sure Darur knows who Im talkin bout. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

With certian accesories, 20bps certiantly is possible, but just barely. | frozen is right except milkman did it with a 98, and it was 24 cps dry firing, it would be slower with paint. So dry firing, 24 cps/bps is certainly believable but with paint i see two problems:1)Im not sure the r/t is capable of 24bps with paint but like anything else somehow, with modification it is possible. 20 an unmodified cyclone can not cycle 24bps with turning into a blender. keyword:unmodified |

Think of cap as like a governor in a car. If you dont know what that is well a governor stops your car from going over a certain speed. Capping is when the company who makes the products desighs it so it can't fire over a certain speed, this is usually done for saftey reasons. -------------

i'd like to see any gun go 45bps let alone a 98 with a r/t, it only sweet spots it isn't even dubbed a full automatic trigger, the e-grip is fully auto,if you can show that your 98c can do 45 BALLS PER SECOND I will bend down and kiss your feet. Maybe it was a typo? |

Jeez that would be 150% of what the Qloader can suppossidly shoot. Sorry, but you know nothing. A blowback semi in terms of mechanical speed is about the fastest gun system ever devised. If you rip out the sear, and let the gun just rip in runaway, it will shoot between 40-70 cycles per second. -------------

even with r/t tuned to 20+Bps it wont work on that a-5 because the cyclone feed cant keep up and you will run out of paint because u wont be able to cycle a full hopper around and around. ------------- Playin the game of work and paintball |

A runaway gun will go absolutely nuts. You've all seen how fast it goes when you run out of air- now imagine just completely removing the sear, pulling the bolt back, and just letting her fly- it would be absolutely insane. Much faster than any feed system can pull off, even a Q-loader. Even real firearms have mechanical limitations when they're firing full automatic. An M16 style weapon will fire at about 10-12 rounds a second on automatic, and that's with a very long bolt travel, a stiff spring, and a hammer that won't even strike the firing pin until the bolt is fully seated back forwards. I've had a runaway gun on a C9 light machinegun- it's our (Canadian) version of the M249 SAW. When the gas blowback port gets clogged with detritus from incomplete combustion in gunpowder propellant, it sometimes won't fire the bolt back far enough to engage the sear, and it will fire full autmatic even after the trigger's releades. A paintball gun won't have this problem, but it's friggin' scary when it happens in real life. We have to manually jam the gun by grabbing the beleted ammunition and twisting it so the belt breaks. When a blowback operated mechanism, either firearm or paintball runs off on its own without the sear, the speed of operation is pretty impressive. With an adequate loader, such as a Q-loader, you could modify a tippman for select fire by adding a switch that forces the sear to disengage, effectively creating a runaway gun. I've got a post in customizing about that from a month back or so if anyone cares to search. We eventually figured that it might not work cause the gun would cycle too fast and turn into a paint blender, but I think with a Qloader it would be doable. Someday I'll fire it empty without the sear in to try and get a BPS count... Of course, if anyo0ne's already done this, that number would be really useful to me- if it's lower than the ~40BPS of the Qloader, I might have a new pet project on my hands. ------------- "Abortion is not "choice" in America.
