I told him that when I get my tippmann I is way better than his gun (spyder rodeo).He said that all tippmanns fail and break super easily.He is just a stuck up retard but still.He says I cant play on "his" fields (no one owns them) and that the barrel I will be getting (J&J 14" ceramic) is way worse than the stock spyder stainless barrel.Anyone have anything I should say to him?BTW if you have a other gun besides tippmann how do they compare? ------------- Vote Bush/Cheney 2004 |

I'm just gonna let this thread go i've been in way to many arguements about tippmann vs. kingman stuff if you want to see my arguements use the search button and look up my name in T and O and maybe here at new players. all i'm gonna say is that i have a RODEO and i have put 10,000+ rounds through it and has never failed me. lol you don't even move around any internals when you install the flatline unless you count the rear site. It is kind of a pain to loosen up the entire gun to remove that stupid adapter. |

That's crossing a serious line- crap like that gives us all a bad reputation. If someone pulle dosmehting like that on me, I WOULD drop him, and probably put him in hospital. You're unarmed, which makes it assault with a weapon. After that, go after his friends. Of coruse, this si assuming you have a mask- if not, get the hell out of dodge and deal with them later. These guys ARE NOT your friends- don't go thinking they are. A lot of people paly paintball; you can fall in with a better crowd. If you insist on sticking with them, learning to school them with your tippy won't be hard- get a could good upgrades and pound them into the dust. A flatline is a nice place to start, but more importantly play like you have a brain. Anticipate what THEY'LL do, and stay two steaps ahead of them. It only takes one ball- In my rookie day of paintball, with a stock tippy 98, I went up against a sponsored professional player with some obscenely high tech stuff and took him in a 1 on 1, simply becuase I didn't play the way he expected me to. Yes, the J&J Ceramic is very damn good compared to most other barrels in my opinion. Here, once you get the barrel (unless you already have it), take a paintball, and break it inside, or some how intentionally break a ball inside of it. Do the same for his stock barrel, and have both of you shoot at the same time atleast 15 times, that should prove enough for you, and him, that the J&J ceramic can shoot through breaks, and cleans its self up, and is much more accurate compared to the spyder stock, which is good enough proof already that it's better. I have put about 40,000 rounds through my tippy and it has never failed me. The really cool thing is most of it wasn't fresh (about a week or two old) and alot of it was deformed. With my spyder clone i would always chop or bust that crap i was useing in the barrel. So yes he is full of crap. ok, this is how much "better" a spyder is than a tippmann: A friend of mine had a E-99 Avant, which in my opinion is the best spyder out there, and we were playing 1 on 1 speedball. I had a stock barrel on my A5 and he had a stock barrel on his spyder. He tried to run to the middle bunker, paintballs going everywhere but near me, I shot his feed tube with 1 shot and gogged him with the other shot, we later looked at it and figured it was a 3in difference in shot location (not bad for a stock barrel) and not 1 of his shots hit my bunker. The funniest part of it all was that the shot on the feed tube demolished it and had to be replaced. Not 2 months later he sold his spyder and got a 98c ------------- Tippmann A5 Freak barell kit Egrip trigger Comp-air LPR System X 68/4500 nitro tank |

Man, you should tell the guy to let you play with him for one day and see who's gun has the most problams. And yes tippmanns are way more accurate with their stock barrels than the spyders.
