i bought my palmers stabilizer thinking that i wasn't gonna buy nitro, and now i am. is having it on my gun gonna be a waste, or does it still serve some purpose even with nitro?

with nitro, it improves your shot to shot consistency by a fair measure. Thats why many nitro users have it. look at boydster's sig

You should have got the nitro to begin with. If you get a good enough tank, the preset reg will be consistent. The Palmer might improve your consistency somewhat, but on a gun running on high pressure, two regulators aren't really necessary.
