my buddy has a 98 c..the gun leaks..but you cant tell from where..its not coming out of anywhere..as a matter of fact it fires a shot or two and then just leaks out till its dead..

im thinking his internal valve rings are going or already did..or its stripped where you insert the gasline...

hes stumped because you can't feel the air coming out of the barrel or anywhere else..you just hear it leak and then it dies after a shot or two..    any ideas guys??

Valve bolts in place?

Definately sounds like a valve problem.

You may have a bad valve. Mine did this, then i got
the valve replaced then it stoped. lil A-5 dude get a
new valve yours will go out within a year, I think that
this is a sign that the valve is going bad.

I think I've gotta replace the O-ring on my bolt.  It leaks out where you cock it.  SO is that what I should do?... replace the oring?

For A-5 Assasin, make sure your steel braided hose is on very tight... And your valve bolts are in properly.

Its probably a valve problem. I would look into a new valve. Take it to your proshop (if you have one). See what they think.

Your valve bolts have nothing at all to do with it. You can take them out and nothing will leak. They just hold in the valve body.

If its not your SS line, its obviously something in your valve. This could be a bad plunger seal, bad valve seat o-ring, or weak valve spring. A bad rear bolt o-ring or valve bolts will not in any way contribute to an internal valve leak.

So first just drop 3 drops of oil into the ASA (tank adapter), take off the barrel and dry fire (just air) 20-30 times. This will get your valve internals moving, and better sealed. If it still persists, youll need to buy a whole new valve alltogether. Or just relace all of the valve internals, but taking apart the valve isnt easy for some.

Again, make sure its not your SS line seal.
