Just got back from seeing it...

IMO, it totally sucked...it was exactly like the ring but with a house instead of a video tape...nothing special than every other crappy suspense movie that attempts to make you jump every 10 seconds...seriously, all it was was like having somebody jump out and scream boo during every scene...At one point the movie did become somewhat interesting but of course, they couldn't think of an ending to resolve the plot of the story so they just left it hanging....What are your thoughts on this movie?

^Me as well...I didn't really want to see this movie but I just came from a haunted house that sucked too with a bunch of friends I haven't seen in a while and a buddy I know at the movie theater got us in for free and we had nothing to do so we said what the hell

That's pretty cheap. I fork out at least $7.00 for every movie. I thought the grudge looked pretty freaky though.

i forked out 7.50 to see that movie, it wasn't that good as I expcted, no scary scenes, and the "boo scenes" are not even scary.

I didn't even like that movie from the previews it looked really sucky. Maybe I'll se it when it comes to my town and it only costs 2 dollars. Maybe not, it'll depend on if im single or not which I most likely will be.

I need to find smaller pictures for my profile.

I thought it was pretty good.

It's not a rip off of the ring brilliant, it's a story by pretty much the same people. It's designed to be similar.

It wasnt a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm willing to bet that those of you that said you werent scared, or at least surprised, are lying. I was in the back row of the theater and I witnessed an entire theater full of people jump at LEAST once. (myself included)

Granted there were a  few scenes that were just hokey, like the stairs at the end, and it'll never pass as a psychological thriller, or even a decent horror movie, and it was pretty predictable, but I think it was pretty well done, much much better than the Ring was. Saw looks absolutely rediculous.

I enjoyed it. The story line was really pretty good, the acting was alright, It had Sarah Michelle Gellar, and there were enough scenes where, even though you KNEW something was gonna happen, their effects were successful.

No, I wasn't scared by the flick, I didn't need to sleep with my lights on or without my blankets, (haha) but it proved a pretty decent thrill while I was at the theater.
