What musician do you think you are influenced most from? Or who do you think you try to mimic when you play your instrument? I think i see myself as John Paul Jones/ John Entwistle type bassist. Interesting you mention John Entwistle (May God rest his soul), as he was one of my influences when beginning to play bass. Entwistle, Geezer Butler, Gene Simmons (whose early work is VASTLY underrated), Glen Hughes, Tony Levin and Rudy Sarzo were my guides into the world of the bass guitar. Later, I saw guys like Les Claypool and Billy Sheehan and realized how inept I was in the sheme of things. ------------- If I flee, kill me If I die, avenge me |
