I think I once read here on the forums that somebody took their forgrip for their A-5 and mounted it at 90degree angle. so that would be like a British WWII Sten gun? Does anyone know if this was a kit by a p-ball company or was it a custom job? I'd like to do theat to my A-5.

Sounds like a cutom job. Probably wouldn't be too hard to do, though it might be a bit ugly. Easiest way I could think of would be a steel band around the forward part of the receiver, tightented to hold a foregreip at 90*. Then again, they may well have milled their gun for a real solid attachment. Not sure. There's lots of ways you could do this.

Yup, he actually said that.

I have one of the Lapco adapters.  Looks kinda cool, but it is incredibly uncorfortable.  I suggested to Colin he make a 30* grip, or somthing like that, but he didn't seem interested...  I would recommend against the 90* adapter, simply because it is really hard (IMO) to play that way.
