if he used spray paint i give the paint job a week before its almost totally flaked off. nice job though. im not a big fan of milling off the lettering though, im not real big on fade paint jobs either. -------------

I'm not real fond of the paintjob, it just looks poorly done. Like you just spray painted it without sanding and applying primer coat first.
You milled the letters to deep, you can see divots where the letters were. I would recommend you sand the whole marker down, use bondo to fill the divots where you milled the letters off, then primer, allow to dry, and apply paint. -------------

i used car paint. i first took all the stock paint off the marker. Then i put car primer. then i sanded the primer off then reapplied the primer (2 coats) then a bade coat of silver(3 coats) then i put the red fade in (2 coats) then i put clear coat on it. With all your ideas, i think im going to re-do the gun. I didnt like the way it turned out either. Im kinda a perfectionist( expert when it somes to spelling lol) |

The Red looks really nice, but I know the silver job must be cheap...i did my hopper like that too with cheap silver spray paint ------------- Sig is WAY too big. |
