well, aside from the fact that no shot will ever be straight like a bullet, because paintballs are waterballoons when compared to real ammunition, most fields do not allow laser sights.

in my personal opinion, you have a retarded idea.

My opinion on lasers for paintball is that it sounds dangerous if you should lase someones eyes.  Not good.

couldnt have said it any better

i hate when people try to turn paintball into a full on military  game (ex. snipers, lasers, "gun bayonets") everyone needs to just leave the sport as it is, not make it dumb and childish

Yeah, rifleing can accually make your gun less accurate. THe rifleing can chop paint. Because paintballs are soft and squishy rifleing will NOT work at all.

Unfortunataly there are no such things as sniers in paintball, a sniper is some one who hangs back and unloads paint, most likley with a flat line. A lazer will point at your target, but you piant wont really go there. The only way that the lazer would really work if you are less then around 50 feet. but other then that i really think that you should stay away from the armotech thing. As for the guys who just tryed to downsize you, dont mind them. It was a reasonable question. Unfortunataly there are people who are very close minded and think that they have the 10 cent openion. They are the people who make this forum very unwelcoming to the new and younger players.

A laser sight on a paintball gun does one thing very well.  It psychologically intimidates an opponent.  Cops and soldiers have known for years now that it is entirely possible to make a suspect or enemy submit with just the sight of a red-dot dancing on their chest.  In paintball it is a subtle way of making someone think "I'm in his or her line of sight!"

laser soudns kidna pointless....like berlin said ur ball won't really go there, no matter what barrel.  Also if you point it into sum1's eye your gonna have a problem on your hands.  If you realyl want a laser, get a red dot site.  Walmart has red dot sites (or atleast the one near where i live does) cheap.  I would recomend a Daisey, jsut cuz it has cross heirs as well as the red dot.

lasers are for army/police when they wear optics/nightvision and cannot look through thier scope... they wont use them if they dont have optical headgear.. why? becasue the raise thier weapon to the eye and fire. the laser looks cool in movies but you do not need it on the field... unless you have NV optics.
