That's like taking Thomas the Tank Engine and turning him into a B2 Stealth bomber...it's not going to happen. i have thought about attaching my a-5 to my kodel air plane but the weight distribution would be horrible, so this helicopter with missels sounds wonderful but i'd like to see it in action before i pull our my Ben franklins |

uh im not sure but i think thats copy right but anyway the R/C thing i dont think its gunna happen cuz the missles would like way it down and that would suck butt cuz u just spent all that money and it went down in flames and i would b super pissed if that happend

the chopper i have will lift 100 additional pounds without problems so i think im good thank you. the missles i have now are solid mettal reusables that will go right through cars so ill have to find a way to make new ones. but intill then there are allways bombs. allso i have mounted 3 cameras in the cockpit area and one in each missle pod. so i can run the hole feild withoug actualy being on the feild ------------- Tipp A-5 Opsgear Saw Shroud Opsgear G36 Folding Stock 16" j&j |

Yer ideas of RC paintballing has already been done and used fer competition.....so check this out http://www.rctankcombat.com/ - http://www.rctankcombat.com/ and I think someone already did put a marker on a RC plane, but it didnt last....the plane took a nasty plunge to mother Earth. ------------- Do not steal....the government hates competition!

| it acctually wouldnt be that hard like if u made 8 missiles to go on an helicaopter and have like 20 paintballs in each missle it be awsome but ud kinda have to make it just shoot the paintballs out ike a cannon. all u do is make like thos lil potato guns like tiny and have an air line from the barrel to the 12 gram co2 (ud have to have 8 12 grams for the 8 cannons) and put the co2 cartridges in the helicopter and have servos to relese the air to go through the line to the barrel and shoots out the the paintballs then u could have like a napom or however u spell it and have it held on the belly by servos then get the servos to release and u have a bomb. ud have bout 5 extra controls and like 8 servos but it would be worth it |

Robert_Hawker, just where did you aquire a 200lb 10foot long R/C helicopter from and how much did it cost? I am a total freek. and i love all things that fly. it set me back 1500 and i put another 1500 into it. so 3k total. you have to have a special licenz to have ont that big but its all good. i made a full metal body for it as i think i have allready said, so no paintball or even a law will cause any damage. i would have to but winsheild wipers on the plexyglass infront of the onboard cameras but that would be all i needed to do to have it up and flying in a pb match. o yea and allot of inshurance!!!! ------------- Tipp A-5 Opsgear Saw Shroud Opsgear G36 Folding Stock 16" j&j |

Generally a bad idea the manned hellhawk, it is impractical and what if you get your windscreen shot up so you can`t see...

I actually asked the insurance company about this a few months back and they said that it was possible but would have to be deemed safe by their inspector and there is a lot of insurance money you have to front. Plus there are special rules in place for it. It would also have to be manned. R/C poses too many factors that could lead to harm. You also can not shoot at the helicopter from the ground with anything. PERIOD. That is a safety hazard. However my field does have a sponsor bring out some ultralight aircraft that make bombing runs as mercenaries. Ask your local field owner and keep your imagination open. As for special licences, if an aircraft is under 254 pounds, contains no more than 5 gallons of fuel, and a few other little details, it can be flown as an ultra light and does not require any licence to operate. However it is highly reccomended that you do have training. As for if you go over any of these limitations, I'm not sure what to do about licenceing or where you would even go to get one. I'd start with the local police force first though. They could probably point you in the right direction. |

A. a striped doun angle is lighter than a pistol. B. with a 12 gram i only get 20-30 shots if that.
