Hey, everyone! I finally got Counter Strike, but as soon as I hit the Internet Games selection there are absolutely NO servers at all! I got steam, and it doesnt work...so I am very dissapointed because after all the times ive played it at friend's houses i finally got my copy and i cant play it...any help would be really appriciated. hhmm..Is anything blocking Steam from accessing the internet? O yea, even though i play CS, dont bother with friends. Steam was the worst thing to happen to counterstrike.. -------------

okay...ill delete it...but why cant i get online with the game...it doesnt say there are any errors...it just doesnt show any games... i dont think so...i have norton anti-virus...but no more than that... I know what yu mean though, like when my friends call me up and ask me what is wrong with their gun im all, "how the hell should I know? Come over!" You know? Thanks for the help guys. uh, i think norton may have a build in firewall, probily not but it wouldnt hurt to try turning it off.
and check your filter when your looking for games. ------------- Forumers ageinst stuff that sucks |

I personally liked steam, better graphics and a few new weapons. On a side note, why did you buy that game? It is possibly the worlds worst FPS. It is hacker planet unless they now use PunkBuster, the graphics suck, the damange system is terrible. ------------- |

| Don't Install Cs with the CD you get. Just go to Steampowered.com and download steam. Once steam is all downloaded, go to the icon on your toolbar the right click it. Then go to Play Games. Then right click CS and then Install. |

actually, i just got steam and whenever it tries to update it gets to like, 27/28% then is shuts down and comes up with this: Steam.exe (main exception): ERROR: Deleteof STEAM.exe failed, Win32 Error 5 "Access is denied." Weel, no, its just as soon as i got it, it starts to update before it starts up and when it gets to 27/28% it just stops with the error... Yeah, but I still love it. It lets anything with the HL engine be accessed easily (Ive never had any Steam problems before) -------------

i love steam. do this erase everything to do with CS on ur pc, uninstall delete w/e then do the same for steam. the redownload steam, go to play games and then click cs. it will ask fora serial # and then you're set ------------- BeAcHbLoNdiEof08: did i do good |
