Yup, I got bored and "fixed" the vert feed A-5. I sold off everything,
to it's ghetto, totally stock but has a Halo on it. The paint and bondo
look like crap, but I don't care, this gun will see VERY little use,
and is more so a show off peice. All I need is to send my broken valve
in to Tippmann and get it replaced and the gun will be fully working

Don't bother whining and saying that it's stupid the cyclone's off, the cyclone sucks and always breaks, I hate it with a passion, and this is pretty much a show only gun anyways. EDIT: NEW PICS!!! I slapped on a Check It feedneck, and took more time sanding it down. that has to be the uglyist thing i have ever seen. it needs a few hours of care and attention if you ask me. but its a good start. bondo is sandable it shouldent be all that hard to get it looking perfect. untill then im still dissapointed. pluss the fert feed neck is on crooked. my credo is if its worth doing its worth doing right the first time. ------------- Tipp A-5 Opsgear Saw Shroud Opsgear G36 Folding Stock 16" j&j |

Haha, hours, like I have the attention span for that, ADD kids 4 lifE. That other vert feed A-5 is my teammate Masspanic's. His is a lot
nicer, mainly because it's his main gun, so he cares a ot more. Here's
a pic of it for those who haven't seen.... Spyderjunkie: Yes, I'm a member at shockerowners, but I'm no longer a Shocker owner myself. I traded it for a Texas Storm Timmy, it'll be here this week and of course I'll get some pics. Pink Panther: I've burned through probably 6 different cyclones, and a few more ratchets. I play a lot of speedball, and I usually shoot 2+ cases in a day, so it would see a lot of wear and tear. The cyclone just couldn't keep up with me. Also, my friends and I play at a friends house year round, and when it's cold out, paint doesn't stand a chance against the cyclone slapping it around. cadet_sarget: I got your PM, typed out a huge long response, then it said your PM box was full. I was ticked cuz I spent like 15 min typing. Clean your PM's out and I'll try again. To everyone who likes it, thanks for appreciating what I've done, and for having an open mind. Bondo is alot harder then it sounds. I am in the process of
bondoing my 98c, and i keep having to redo it b/c of imperfections in
the bondo, plus it is hard to get it flush with the gun.

By bondoing do you mean just using clay epoxy, or is bondo actually a particular product? Put up pics of that 98c you annod. And to rootsradicals what position do you play because i could have some ideas on a marker you may like. ------------- |

ok here is the Robert_Hawker school of bondo 101. you can sand bondo so what you do it take some sandpaper and a ruler and fold the sand paper over the ruler sand side out. then once the bondo has had a little time to dry sand usind the ruler edge to get into all the little nooks. then use the flat side to make a seemless curve allonge the other faces. get it as smoth as possable, blow off dust, paint, and injoy. i will be doing this stuff for a liveing so i know what im talking about. bondo will look as good as you spend the time to make it look so take your time and you will have nothing but perfection. ------------- Tipp A-5 Opsgear Saw Shroud Opsgear G36 Folding Stock 16" j&j |

Bondo is actually the product name. And we didn't really anno a 98, we spray painted it. We took a friend's that never plays, and painted it metallic silver to red fade, really ugly.
